When pre-orders for Waxwork Records' The Thing vinyl soundtrack initially opened on Monday, the anticipated release sold out more quickly than the copper wire blood test transformation. If you weren't able to purchase a copy earlier this week, though, Waxwork Records isn't going to leave you feeling stranded in the Arctic, as they have re-opened pre-orders for both the Deluxe "Trapped in the Ice" Edition and the "Snow" version of Ennio Morricone's unsettling score.

Another year, another slew of pixelated pretenders to the throne. Ahead of the event taking place on February 18, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has locked down the list of finalists nominated for the 19th annual Dice awards ceremony.
