Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse are among the stars who will feature in new programmes to mark BBC Two's 50th anniversary in April. Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse are to reunite for a one-off TV special.
Harry & Paul's Story of the Twos will see the comic duo mocking classic BBC Two stars to mark the channel's 50th anniversary.
The hour-long programme's title is a nod to Simon Schama's History of the Jews, while Enfield will narrate the show as Schama.
Among the 'programmes' featured on the show include Men Behaving Likely Ladly, The Old Grey Wrinkled Testicle and Grumpy Old Hasbeens.
Characters including Gerald Manley Paxman, John Cleese-Shop-Sketch, Mark Egghead, Germaine Dreary and Russell Somebody will also appear.

At 16, she began to act at the Anna Scher theatre school in Islington and, a year later, got her first role, in the film Scrubbers. She appeared in Harry Enfield's Television Programme, playing characters such as Waynetta Slob, and in the sitcom Gimme Gimme Gimme. Her film roles include Nil By Mouth, for which she won the Cannes Palme D'Or. In recent years she has directed plays, and her latest, The Stock Da'wa, is at Hampstead Theatre until 14 May.
