Something has been hanging over me for the last few days. While Rian Johnson, Mark Hamill and company were a few hours away shooting the opening scenes for Star Wars Episode VIII, Daisy Ridley was nowhere to be seen. We ran a piece which said that she was in Kerry, along with her stunt double. However, as the week went on, not one photograph showed her in Kerry and not one report surfaced of her on location. Kerry's Eye, a local newspaper ran a front page story, leading with the headline "Star time in South Kerry". Check out the screen grab from their Facebook page below. However, if we go back to last Summer, Kerry's Eye also ran a number of stories surrounding the shoot for The Force Awakens, where Daisy Ridley was indeed on Skellig Michael. But take a look at the photograph that appeared in Kerry's Eye on...

It’s with great sadness to report of the untimely death of wrestling legend the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, aged 69.
According to TMZ, emergency personnel responded to Dusty’s home in Orlando, Fl at 5:56 Am Wednesday morning after getting a call reporting he had taken a fall. According to F4WOnline, his kidneys were shutting down and he started to get dehydrated.

Rhodes (whose real name was Virgil Runnels) was arguably the biggest wrestler that really made a name for himself in the 1970s. He worked mostly in the Florida territory as well as the southern United States, while also working as the booker of Jim Crockett Promotions throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s as well. He was one of the biggest babyfaces in the southern Us during the majority of his in-ring career.

One could argue the significance of the events that take place in The Empire Strikes Back. It’s widely considered the finest Star Wars film made to date but an argument could be made as to whether anything actually happens in the film. Yes, there is one major revelation that goes without saying, but isn’t the film merely just a stepping-stone to the next chapter? The film essentially is one long Saturday morning serial entry that practically ends with a voice-over announcing, “stay tuned next week Jedi; same Star time… same Star channel.” That feeling of seeing only the first part in a larger story can be said for the recent entry in the Apes reboot series. Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes leaves a lasting impression based on the impressive special effects, rich visual landscapes, and moving character interactions (kind of like the other entry in the...

If you ever doubted whether or not "Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers" was in continuity with the rest of the Marvel Universe, Chris Eliopoulos set the record straight today. I didn't know that this was a major issue of contention for the book's readers, but apparently enough of them asked.
Brian Michael Bendis also engaged his readership while experimenting with some text-to-audio software with David Mack last night. You can find out more about that below. Click onward past the jump and you'll also find out who's mourning the reported disappearance of James Brown's body, what Microsoft Word does with the word "Halfing" and which conventions Ben Templesmith plans on attending this year.
It's all in the Twitter Report for March 12th, 2010.
@eliopoulos No, I'm saying Pet Avengers Is in continuity, but some folks insist on saying it isn't. There is no ambiguity in this story.
