Sex & Nudity

  • Some sexual references including use of the word "penis" (in a completely non sexual context) and the term "getting laid." A man finds out his fiance slept with his father and a General tells his father that in Vietnam one of his soldiers tried to "frag"(shoot) him and the father thinks he said and/or meant something else. Only adults looking would assume a sexual meaning.
  • A woman removes her shirt and bra for a man(No nudity. Seen from behind after bra-removal) and leads him to bed. Her bra is tossed on a camera-robot and we hear some brief sexual moaning.
  • A nude plastic female doll(we see plastic buttocks) is show being stretched to test quality control. The image is somewhat suggestive and Robin Williams refers to it as "The Last Temptation of Barbie"(which could offend religious people although that doesn't appear to be intended).
  • A woman in a slip(some cleavage) sits on a mans lap and kisses him.

Violence & Gore

  • Images of violent war video games(no blood) are seen throughout the film. In one scene, the General repeatedly targets and blows up UN trucks. Other scenes have children playing the games.
  • Robin Williams is attacked offscreen by an underwater weaponized toy.
  • A man shoots himself in the foot(no blood and comical).
  • A man chokes another man(comical).
  • Lots of destruction including a major battle scene in which weaponized toys attack the heroes and many ordinary toys as well as weaponized toys are blown up and destroyed.
  • Two people are mildly injured by toys in the climactic battle scene and a man and his uncle tussle briefly and fall from a decent height but are not hurt too bad.
  • A female human-like robot is blown up by a missile and we see her still-talking severed head. She is later repaired.

Profanity

  • Not very much. 2 uses of "shit", 2 uses of goddamn, a few uses of "damn" and "hell", 1 use each of "crap", "sons of bitches", "fart"(used as an insult), "bastards", and a religious exclamation or two.
  • Some crude humor involving flatulence, poop, and vomit. More comical than gross. We see several fake vomits and poops but they are not very realistic looking.
  • A Senile man says "big cock"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Social drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some of the weaponized toys are a little creepy and the General is maniacal but "Toys" is overall not a frightening movie.
