Quotes

  • Wallace : It's the wrong trousers Gromit! And they've gone wrong!

  • Wallace : Cracking toast, Gromit!

  • Wallace : It's no use prevaricating about the bush.

  • Wallace : [upon falling through the trap door into the techno-trousers, instead of his normal trousers]  It's the wrong trousers! The wrong trousers!

  • [last lines]

Wallace : All's well that ends well, that's what I say.

    [eats his cheese and crackers]

Wallace : Mmm... Oh, I do like a bit of Gorgonzola.

  • Wallace : I think you'll find this present a valuable addition to our modern lifestyle. They're techno-trousers. Ex-NASA. Fantastic for walkies!

  • Wallace : [about his invention that slid him out of bed and onto a chair in the room below via a trap door]  Well, that went as well as could be expected, didn't it, hmm? Though I might have to make a small adjustment to the drop, a touch painful on re-entry.

  • Wallace : [as he goes flying around the room]  Hang in there, Gromit! Everything's under control!

  • [Wallace has fallen into the techno-trousers and, thanks to Feathers McGraw controlling them, sent Wallace rampaging about town before returning him home to bed, tired]

Wallace : A good doze, that's what I need. Get me strength back. What a... What a shocking calam... calam... calamity...

    [falls asleep, snoring]

  • Wallace : [being marched down the side of a building in the techno-trousers, controlled by Feathers]  That's quite enough! You'll be hearing from my solicitor about this! Ooh! Oh! Mind how you go! You can't go taking liberties like this! I'm a respectable citizen!

  • Wallace : Well, Gromit, let's see what's on the 9.05, shall we?

[in comes a model train on the track that goes through the room]

  • Wallace : Happy birthday, chuck!

  • Wallace : No more lodgers - more trouble than they're worth!

  • Wallace : [Feathers moves him, in the techno-trousers, into a wardrobe]  This wardrobe's nearly new, you know!

  • [Feathers has locked Wallace and Gromit in a wardrobe]

Wallace : Well, this is a fine how do you do, isn't it, Gromit?

  • [Feathers has locked Wallace and Gromit in a wardrobe. Gromit hotwires the techo-trousers' wiring and they start marching on the spot, the wardrobe shakes]

Wallace : My goodness, it'll ruin the woodwork!

[the wardrobe is wrenched clear of its bottom and they start moving across the room]

Wallace : Oh! There goes me knotty pine!

  • [It's Gromit's birthday]

Wallace : [lying in bed, jabbing the breakfast buzzer]  It's my turn for breakfast this morning, Gromit.

  • Wallace : [ineffectually trying to get his new lodger, the penguin, not to stay in Gromit's room]  Look... there's something I've got to tell you. It's, erm... no pets. Does that suit you?

  • Wallace : [as Gromit frantically lays down pieces of track in front of the model train they're riding on at speed through the house]  Mind the table, Gromit!

[they weave between the table legs as they pass underneath it]

  • Wallace : [waking up to find himself in the techno-trousers, hanging upside down from the ceiling in a museum with the alarms ringing]  What's the game, then?

  • Wallace : [to Feathers McGraw]  Good grief. It's you. Now, get me out of those trousers.
