- It eventually is revealed that Preston has been killing the sheep he has been rustling to make mutton-flavored dog food (we do not see any sheep die, but we are shown the machine that he uses, as well as a newspaper headline reporting unexpected deaths of sheep).

- At the end of the film it is reveled that Preston is in fact a robot, his apperence may be frightening to young children
