Jimmy Kimmel’s health care battle continued on Thursday night — but rather than focus on the latest ramblings of Fox & Friends co-anchor Brian Kilmeade, the late-night comedian turned his attention to President Donald Trump.
VideosJimmy Kimmel Tears Into Fox & Friends Co-Host: ‘You Phony Little Creep’
Trump on Wednesday made his endorsement of the controversial Graham-Cassidy Bill known, tweeting in support of the potential Affordable Care Act alternative and its cosponsor, Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy. In response, Kimmel argued that Trump doesn’t actually care about the specifics of the bill, as long as it replaces the health care policy enacted under the Obama administration.

Later this month, Florida filmmaker Robert J. Massetti's latest short film Creepy Crawly which he co-directed alongside Jason Daly and co-wrote with both Daly and Jason Marsiglia will be celebrating its world premiere at the Freak Show Horror Film Festival in Orlando.
No stranger to the world of indie horror, Massetti has been working as a filmmaker for around two decades and has spent the last seven years cultivating Freak Show Film Festival into one of the premiere genre fests in the Us.
Dread Central recently caught up with Massetti to hear more about Creepy Crawly, his future plans for the story of this blood-sucking Lovecraftian-esque creature and much more. We also were able to get our hands on the very first trailer for Creepy Crawly which we're pleased to debut exclusively on DC as well. Read on for our interview with Massetti and make sure to check out...

So there are two movements peacefully coexisting within the horror community regarding the quality of video you’re watching at home on your oversized television screen. The first movement involves a thing called a “blu ray” (not a death ray so don’t feel threatened by it). It provides beautiful high defintion picture, crystal audio, plenty of space for rad extra features, usually, more special features than your brain has room for. On the other side of the spectrum, there’s shot-on-video movies. By shot-on-video or Sov for short we mean movies that are shot on or made to look like they’ve been shot on camcorders on VHS tape or other similar medium. I believe the word you’re looking for is dichotomy or maybe something more philosophical like yin and yang. Today we’re here to talk about the Sov varietal with which you may be slightly unfamiliar...

Here’s some great news for fans of 80s’ horror, those fine upstanding folk at Image Entertainment will be releasing the Midnight Madness Series starting in September. They have a veritable truckload of classics from Lakeshore Entertainment coming our way, including the release of Vamp on Blu-ray. Others include Children of the Corn, Hellraiser and Creepshow 2. For a full release schedule check out below. In the meantime I suggest saving up your notes as it could get expensive!
Children of the Corn (Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital; September 6th)
Based on the classic short story by Stephen King, this film is about a young couple (Linda Hamilton, Terminator 2, and Peter Horton, “thirtysomething”) stranded in a rural town in Nebraska. They are surrounded by prospering corn fields…and a terrifying secret. This horror favorite has spawned six sequels and many imitations. See how the Corn first took root!

Oh. My. God. Image Entertainment, you have made my day! The announcement of the lineup for Image's Midnight Madness Series has set my feet to dancing. And if you're a fan of '80's horror, you might find a little Michael Flatley in yourself because this is a killer list of films.
Okay, your interest must be piqued at this point, right? Dying to hear the list? I'll keep you in suspense no longer. Imagine I'm Michael Madsen in Reservoir Dogs and lend me your ear. (trumpet fanfare) I give you the Image Midnight Madness Series lineup:
Let's start with the heavy hitters (film descriptions from Image Entertainment):
Hellraiser (Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital; September 6th)
Horror master Clive Barker wrote and directed this seminal 1987 nightmare classic, featuring the first appearance of the iconic Pinhead. A story of puzzle boxes, Cenobites, ritual sadomasochism and dismemberment, this is a thrillingly perverse...

Chicago — The plan for a weekend of Lollapalooza shuffle firmly established, Saturday's musical Pu-Pu platter was a bit more focused on rock and its various offshoots, plus, frankly, bands I either love already or was just curious about.
First on the list was hip-hop's current go-to hook queen, Skylar Grey. In her first major appearance since blowing up thanks to her vocals on Dr Dre's "I Need a Doctor," singer/songwriter Grey is clearly read to go out on her own. (She would join pal Eminem later in the night during his headlining set.)
Check out photos from the festival!
With a haunting, gothy vibe, Grey came out wearing a ragged white hoodie that hung in shreds like a ghost shawl down to her ankles, accented by combat boots, army pants and a white sports bra that showed off her impossibly thin belly. She was all aggression and angst, at one point neck-tackling her guitarist.

From his unromantic wedding proposal to his assessment of the mishandling of Hurricane Katrina, the defense secretary's new memoir isn't just about foreign affairs. Read anecdotes.
While the bulk of Donald Rumsfeld's memoir deals with weighty matters of war and peace, there are offbeat moments in Known and Unknown that provide glimpses of the Chicago native who twice ran the Pentagon. Here are a few:

· The day after graduating from college in 1954, Rumsfeld was back home in Illinois and told his parents he was going out. "I went to find Joyce and asked her to marry me," he says of Joyce Pierson, whom he had stayed in touch with since high school. "There was little buildup, little suspense, and at ten o'clock in the morning, it wasn't very romantic." That's an understatement.

Joel D. Wynkoop is one of the hardest working actors in the indie horror world, having appeared in over 50 films. He is the John Carradine of horror films. Towards the beginning of the decade, he experienced a resurgence in film work and racked up one credit after another. The 80's and 90's saw him working infrequently, though one of his more well known films is Truth or Dare: Screaming For Sanity. I had the chance to ask him a few questions about his career. Here is what he had to say.

To kick start our Faces Of Indie Horror Month, I thought we would start out with an interview with director Tim Ritter ( Offical Site ) of Truth or Dare. His film, Truth or Dare, changed the entire landscape of modern indie horror filmmaking forever so it is only fitting that Mr. Ritter gets the first spot in our interview chair. Here's what he had to say:
Just in case we have any horror fans that are unfamiliar with Tim Ritter, who is he and what is he all about?
I’m just a horror fan who also loves to contribute something to the genre when I can muster up the inspiration and energy. My biggest childhood influences are Jaws and Carpenter’s Halloween. I’ve made over a dozen underground movies over the past twenty-six years (including the Truth Or Dare? trilogy, Killing Spree, and Creep) and written a few books...
