Albert Pyun's original vision and idea for Nemesis 4 was originally nothing like the finished product and was to have followed the previous two installments more directly, but was changed due to insufficient video sales of Nemesis 3: Time Lapse (1996).
Filming took place while director Albert Pyun was taking part in re-shoots for Adrenalin: Fear the Rush (1996).
