For some reason, when Kenan & Kel got put together they had chemistry like the old time comedy teams had. The two play off each other well & manage to entertain their target audience.

These two guys were the strength of Nicks line up for 1996 to 1999 & the chemistry was so good they even did a movie, GOOD BURGER together. These shows all very quite funny that I have seen. Somehow these two guys manage to always be funny even when the script went a little flat on them.

I wonder if now they ever think of trying to get back together as adults & see if their natural chemistry would still work? It would be better than Survivor 999 -Skunk Lake Excursion

'Kenan and Kel' is one of the few shows which is suitable for both kids, teenagers and young adults. It is genuinely funny in plenty of places and the lads got the humour just right for all. I used to love watching 'Kenan and Kel' when I was about 11. It was my sister who told me I must watch it, because I'd find it funny. Needless to say, I did. And when I was 13, I still loved it and still chuckled at it. In fact, it was the only show that I would watch on Nickelodeon, because it was always entertaining. 'Sabrina' was OK, but there were fewer entertaining episodes in that show. 'Kenan and Kel' was and still is always enjoyable - and I'm 23 now.

Kenan is a hilarious character, because he's always getting into trouble. The majority of the episodes focus on Kenan trying to avoid getting grounded or getting found out for doing something that he really didn't intend to turn out as bad as it has done. You watch with pleasure as he often tries the most ridiculously ludicrous ways to avoid getting caught or to erase the trouble he has caused. What's more, he has an irritating, but terribly likable best-friend called Kel who constantly aggravates Kenan in his bad situations! Though Kel can sometimes be a little too annoying, he can also be very funny indeed. In summary though, both of them are idiots. When you watch 'Kenan and Kel', you're watching two, young, free idiots, who thought that they could do just what they liked but have realised that they can't.

Both the lads work extremely well together. It's a joy to sit back and watch them act in their bone-headed sort of way, which brings with it a lot of fun. Chris is also a good character and he constantly brings a smile to the face. And Kenan's parents are funny too, especially Mr. Rockmore. Him and Kel clash beautifully together.

Another appealing aspect of this show is its harmlessness. There's no swearing, sex, nudity, drugs and the like in this show. I've never even come across one innuendo. It's completely innocent. The obvious reason for this is because children are one of the target viewers. Yet, the two main characters have a more 'grown-up' feel to them. You really don't feel like you're watching a nerdy, childish sort of show when you watch it, because it's much too cool for that. You watch it as a kid and think, 'These are not boys, they're adults really'. You watch when you're a young adult and you think, 'These are not boys, but they sure act like it!'

I just finished watching an episode, the one where Kenan is not allowed to attend his own high-school graduation. And the lads asked the audience at the end, 'Did you all enjoy the show?' and I had to say: 'Yes!' How could I not? These two guys are great together and they tend to strike a cord with you for 25 minutes. It's such a simple show in many ways, and yet it is better than many other shows. I'm glad to see that it is rated 8.4/10 on IMDb, because it deserves it. For many years I've thought that it was worthy of greater recognition in the UK. It would help if Nickelodeon played it more, but then again, I know that Nickelodeon have played all the episodes many times before. There comes a limit to how often you can repeat an entire show. But at least they still show it.

If you ask me, 'Kenan and Kel' is one of the best shows that Nickelodeon have ever broadcast.

I believe that the 4 seasons did Nick a lot of good. I will never forget the movie "Two Heads Are Better Than None". It was single handedly the best made for TV movie - ever! I grew up with Kenan and Kel, both on "Kenan and Kel" and on "All That", which I might say has all but gone down the drain (the reason why I say this is because Josh and Lori Beth are now writers for the tenth season of All That - or so rumor has it.) Back to my comment, Kenan and Kel shaped the picture of comedy that we all get when we think of Nick or even kid's shows in general. In a word, Kenan and Kel are...what am I saying! There isn't a word or more than one for that reason that can describe the show. The closest I can come to is Wicked-Awesome.

"Kenan and Kel" was one of the best shows on Nickelodeon, coming straight out of the golden age of Nickelodeon back in the 90s.

When I was much younger, I use to always watch it, and even in my late teens now I still find the episodes to be classics. Whenever someone brings up an episode or the show, I find myself looking back on memory lane and laughing at the great episodes this show brought.

The great thing about this show is it is often hysterical and light hearted, with every show getting the two boys entangled up into a "we're screwed" situation, usually through a money-making scheme or the unintentionally inept moves made by one of the two boys (usually Kel), and many of the episodes having plot twists. It really kept you entertained throughout. It may be a show aimed towards a child or teen audience, but many episodes are so well made that they're fine for adults to watch, it's a shame this show was never played in syndication on a different network, or isn't as internationally known as shows such as "I love Lucy" or "Seinfeld", because this may be one of the greater shows of our time.

Sadly, "Kenan and Kel" was canceled in 2000, and Nickelodeon began replacing classic show like this one and "Rocko's Modern Life" with awful garbage like "The Amanda Show", eventually "Drake and Josh", "My life as a teenage robot", and an endless number of other shows that pale greatly in comparison to the programs Nick aired during the 90's. Because of this, "Kenan and Kel" has not been played on the network in many years. Fortunately though, in November of this past year, the show gained a spot on Nickelodeon's satellite network "The N", though such is unhelpful for us that don't have that channel. Thankfully, it may be indicating a possible official DVD release of the show in the next couple of year. We can only hope.

Man this show brings back memories! I've rewatched this show so many times! It is seriously one of my favorites! I love Kenan and Kel there are hilarious! The cast and people on this show are funny and talented! The episode never fail to make me laugh man shows nowadays just aren't as good as they used to be. Dan schneider knows how to make an amazing show! Countless shows by him I've rewatched and they really are the best shows on Nickelodeon! Zoey 101, I Carly, drake and josh, all that that's just to name a few! Man good shows right there! Anyways if for some reason you have never seen this show I'd recommend it!

This is by far the funniest show that Nickelodeon has made to date. Over a decade later and it still makes me laugh harder than most comedies out now! I have to find the complete set somewhere. This show is a must have.

Kenan & Kel is definitely one of Nickelodeons best shows. Kenan, always coming up with plans to get him and his best friend Kel in trouble, and Kel being extremely dumb just making matters worse. The situations they get in are so unbelievable that only the two stupidest people on the planet could get themselves into that kind of trouble, but this is what makes the show so funny.

Every character on this show is very enjoyable to watch. There's Chris, the owner of Rigbys, who continuously goes on about his mom or his pewter cow collection. Then there's Kenan's dad Roger with his deep hatred for Kel and so on.

I rate this show 10/10, none of the episodes have disappointed me. Great show if you need a laugh.

This is an alright teenage series for all viewers to watch. The crew could have created it a bit better but it was good enough. The storyline of this series was a little weak. The cast selection was great. They really committed and connected to the storyline and to their respective characters. The chemistry that Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell displayed was strong which really helped the series. This teenage series reveals to viewers the true reality of growing up and building a life. I am not allowed to build a life of my own. I will always be controlled and stuck throughout my lifetime. This is a fine teenage series for everyone to watch.

I know what your thinking. How. And when you hear the rest of top 5 list you would be shocked. 5 is the punisher. 4 is the walking dead. 3 is breaking bad. And 2 is stranger things. So, I know how is this better that those shows. How is this funnier than friends and the office and Seinfeld. But it is. This show is absolutely hysterical. Every episode has me laughing out loud. Seen every episode more than once. And it's good that there are shows with humor that can make everybody laugh. Though I have no problem with adult humor. But this show is outstanding. Funniest show of all time.

Call it Nostalgia, call it a guilty pleasure, but I really enjoyed this show. I acknowledge it was very formulaic, every episode pretty much went the same way. Most characters were just one note, same joke generators. Kenan's sister had a crush on Kel, Kenan's dad had a short temper and the store clerk was always being picked on. The show had catchphrase, running jokes and a laugh track, pretty common sitcom stuff.

It is when the show would drift away from the formula that led to some very memorable episodes. The episode where Kenan goes to move, the bagging competition and the Christmas episode are three all-time greats for that reason. The show has some all-time great episodes and jokes, but I can't recommend going through all 62 episodes just to get to those gems.

But OK, I'll say it...who likes Kenan and Kel? I like Kenan and Kel, I do I do I dooo.

Everyone vibes well to this show. I don't.

I don't hate it or have anything negative to say about it.

I just didn't see much of this show on tv when I watched TV as a little snotty nosed up punk. As I got older everyone is talking about K&K. "Bring back K&K." "K&K is the best show ever."

So I checked it out. Its a fun show. Its good to see young brothas leading the way on TV.

I just didn't vibe well to the show. Nothing against the actors or Viacom. Even though I know Viacom produces some sneaky sleezy children shows. K&K was not for me.

I honor and respect its accomplishments. It entertained many youth of black, white and outterteen.

Yes. This was Nickelodeon's last actually watchable show. Well, aside from SpongeBob which I hated at first but actually liked once I got a job at a Toy Store.

Either way, this show had so many great moments. It was ALWAYS entertaining and until Nick decided to go all "Extreme" and start canceling the good shows and putting nothing but pureed s**t on the air, I would watch this every Saturday Night during "Snick". Is "Snick" even still on? Not that it matters. I'm 23 now and I still get a kick out of Kenan and Kel.

The convenience store owner (Who also starred in Head of the Class in 1986-1991) was one of the best characters. Always having problems.

Kenan's sisters crush on Kel was perfect.

Kel's love of Orange Soda and his tendency to always piss Kenan's Dad off in every episode was perfect.

Kenan's schemes were golden. And at the end when he would come up with another plan and tell Kel to grab "A Tricycle, a Bowling Ball and a tube of glue and meet me at the Resivoir." or stuff like that I would always crack up.

Now. The Amanda Show. God that is horrible. Sometimes I wish they would cancel Nickelodeon. If only you could cancel a TV Network. It had a good run. Now it's time to pack up and leave.

Same with the Disney Channel. It was good until it became all Extreme and hip. And when they added commercials.

I loved this show!!!! Sometimes, when I got some free time for me I watch my favorites episodes from this series!! Very funny and I can watch it all day long if I want tho!

Very funny show! Love it a lot! Made me laugh a lot! In my opinion, it's right below my favorite shows which and Roseanne, King of Queens, etc. but I don't have anything else to say about the show. I'm going to talk about Nickelodeon. Think of Nickelodeon as the opposite of silver. Silver was going up and up. Nickelodeon is going down and down. The last good show on Nickelodeon was the newer Double Dare and Henry Danger. Not going to say all to say all the shows, but this show is funny. The newer shows try to be funny.

This show really has everything for the old school Nickelodeon fans.

It's incredibly relatable with Kenan & Kel navigating real life situations with a comedic approach.

I think Kenan & Kel's on screen chemistry made this show iconic. It heavily influenced a show like Drake and Josh.

These two are quite the duo between All That, Kenan and Kel and Good burger !

If you want a laugh and do not want to think too much. This is the show for you. A mindless 30 minute laugh fest.

Currently re-watching it with my Brother and it's quite a joy.

Overall: 8 out of 10 because it isn't the greatest teen comedy I've ever seen, but it's up there.

I used to watch this show when I was growing up. I remember it pretty well. If you ask me, it was a good show. I also remember the opening sequence and theme song pretty well, too. In addition to that, everyone was ideally cast. Also, the writing was very strong. The performances were top-grade, too. I hope some network brings it back so I can see every episode. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever, even though I don't think I've seen every episode. Now, in conclusion, if some network ever brings it back, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.

I liked this show. It was really funny, and the characters were quite memorable. Kenan usually got himself and Kel into the situations they got into in each episode, and Kel was pulling off his idiot role: a kid who LOOOOVED orange soda (which i think was pretty cool, and funny!), and acted like a moron. I laughed every time Kenan's dad said "KENAN" in that deep voice. Kenan and Kel is a great show through, and through.

I cannot remember ever watching a show that has made me laugh so much. This show is extremely humorous. I saw a rerun the other day and I was still laughing. It is just fun to see someone acting so childish and unbelievably dumb. Kenan, who was the smart one out of the two, always came up with ostensibly practical schemes, which never worked out, mainly because Kel would mess it up. Note that Kel is usually always the one who got them in the mess in the first place. I would give this show a 5 out of 5. I believe that everyone would enjoy this show equally. This is not like other situation comedies, where it gets serious at times. This is strictly comedic. For once there is no need to satirize anything for a show to have people rolling on the floor laughing.

Kenan & Kel Has GOT to be one of the best TV Shows On Nickelodeon, Right to this very day in 2006. The Stories Were Good, The Acting Was Great and Unlike the cheesy and over-the-top shows aired on nickelodeon these days, It was Absolutely HILARIOUS in a fun, family way. Its a total classic, Right up there in the top Nickelodeon Stakes with Are You Afraid Of The Dark? and Rugrats. If Only all the other shows on Nickelodeon Right now weren't as Trashy and Too far as This One-off sitcom. The best Character is Probably Kel, He made me laugh the most. Although, No matter what they star in Seperatly, or no matter how many cheesy programmes Nickelodeon Seme To Come up with, NOTHING Beats this One-off Entertainment Genius!

This show is genuinely funny.There are a whole load of similar American kids TV shows but where this one scores is that it goes for laughs all the time. Other shows sometimes have serious episodes and moralise from time to time but Kenan & Kel go for laughs from start to finish in each episode.The character of Kel is probably the most dumb in TV history but he is the constant source of laughs in this show.Kenan is his long-suffering friend who usually tries to clear up the messes that Kel creates.However,Kenan usually makes things worse etc.Basically, the show appeals to kids but Kenan & Kel is good fun TV for folks of all ages.
