Sex & Nudity

  • Some female characters wear skimpy costumes, but nothing revealing is shown. Sometimes, jokes are make in reference to said outfits, however this never goes into any explicit territory.

Violence & Gore

  • Despite being based on a Mature-rated video game franchise, most of the violence here is pretty tame, since the show was made with children in mind. There is a good deal of martial arts-style fighting, including some inhuman, supernatural attacks, however no extreme violence is ever featured. There is no major blood/gore. Some characters are implied to die/have died, however the deaths are almost never shown on screen, and the few that are generally are non-violent. Even though a good portion of the show is about action/fighting, the activity is never glorified. Characters are fighting for the defense of their world, not personal gain.

Profanity

  • The word "damnation" was used at least once, however it was used in the proper context and not as an insult or a "swear word." Dialogue is typical Saturday morning cartoon fare.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Characters are often in peril, but they generally escape with their lives intact, usually not harmed or injured in any serious way. In some episodes, fiery domains implied to be Hell are shown, but the locale is never referred to by name.
