A mess

Inept from start to finish, "Spreading Joy" is a sad excuse for a porn-parody about Christmas. It's rendered unwatchable by starring Michael Morrison as Santa Claus -he's one of porn's least erotic would-be studs, and here fails to deliver a single required money shot.

With a grey wig or dye-job, Susan Hart reads her lines as Mrs. Claus as if staring at cue cards, and main femme star Gina Valentino can't hold a candle to her latter-day counterpart Gina Valentina. Fortunately, they performed in different eras, with their careers not overlapping to create any confusion.

The vignette structure means anything goes, but the endless groaners of attempted comedy lines and situations defeated my attempt to get involved with the material.

Caveat emptor, baby.

Here "Comes" Santa Clause.

Warning: Spoilers
Talking to a DVD seller about what movies they had watched over the Christmas holiday,I found out that they had tracked down an X-Mas "Adult" title!,which led to me getting ready to see a rather different white Christmas.

The plot:

Upset over children wanting modern toys and none of the elves cleaning up Rudolph's poo,Santa starts to wonder about what is the point of him still working.Seeing him upset, Mrs. Claus decides to cheer Santa up. Emptying Santa's sack,Santa sends two perky elves over as a response to a guy who has written to Santa asking for help to lose his virginity.

View on the film:

Backed by a jolly synch-score,the screenplay (by uncredited writers!) throw a handful of Christmas pun tinsel over the movie, but sadly withdraw from getting into the spirit of things, with the creaky dialogue lumbering across the title.Whilst the cast (which includes a cute Rikki Blake) do very well at showing their party tricks, director "Adam" fails to tap into the holiday season, with the ultra low- budget leading to Santa not even wearing a beard!,in a film which should only be viewed once a year.
