Jane Gail gives a good characterization in the title role of this comedy drama concerning the love of a drudge, "Plain Jane," for an artist who does not pay any attention to her and has not the least idea that she is in love with him. Mr. Welsh, as the Count von Stromberg, the suitor for a wealthy society girl with whom the artist is infatuated, handles his part in good shape. The story is pleasant and ought to be well received. - The Moving Picture World, December 6, 1913
