Mike (hunky Rod Pierce) attends a stag party held by his two friends. The two friends show a porn film at said party. Mike discovers the porn movie features his wife Connie (attractive brunette Linda Vale), who he assumed was a prude, but it reality turns out to be a pretty wild swinging gal who moonlights as an adult flick actress and dominatrix. Director Shaun Costello milks plenty of amusing raunchy humor from the inspired plot, offers lots of great footage of 80's Times Square in all its sordid glory, and maintains a steady pace throughout. Moreover, Costello scrupulously covers the satisfying carnal bases with the usual serving of fellatio, cunnilingus, and straight copulation. Naturally, Costello also tosses in some mild S&M to further spice things up. The enthusiastic acting from a sound cast of East Coast porn favorites keeps the picture humming: Carter Stevens contributes a very lively and funny turn as amiable sleazeball Harry, Marlene Willoughby has a bawdy ball as lascivious photographer Natasha, George Payne is a hoot as a male model who literally gets treated like a dog, Jean Silver steams things up as a slinky blonde bimbo, and Honey Stevens likewise brings on the heat as the enticing Lisa. The surprise happy ending is real sweet, too. A nice little sliver of smut.

MISTRESS ELECTRA has a relatively decent premise. The sleaze-level is pretty low and most of the sex scenes are relatively weak and unerotic (virtually all of the female performers are pretty much sea donkeys...), but I still found it relatively enjoyable because I wanted to see how the story panned out.

Mike and Connie are a happily married couple-or at least so Mike thinks until he peeps his ol' lady getting boned by some dude and another chick in a porn film that one of his boys brings to a party. Turns out that the wife moonlights as a dominatrix and porn actress. Lucky for both of them that the idea of his wife doing porn is a turn-on for our boy Mike. Problem is-Mike can't get his wife to admit to doing the films-whenever he beats around the bush (so to speak) about the subject-she acts as though the idea of porn is offensive to her. Mike then enlists the help of his buddies to set up a sorta 'sting' operation where Candice will be forced to reveal her true nature...

Again-nothing extremely notable about MISTRESS ELECTRA in the sex and sleaze departments-but the relatively engaging storyline was enough to warrant a watch. Can't say I'd really recommend it too highly-but by far not the worst of this sort of material either. 4/10
