Apparently the precursor to SECRET SEX LIVES OF HITLER'S NAZIS, I accidentally watched that and this (NAZI BROTHEL) out of order, but no matter... either way you slice it, these are probably Ray Dennis Steckler's two battiest XXX offerings, and BROTHEL kicks off his diptych with a bang.
Opening in the same house of ill repute as SEX LIVES, BROTHEL wastes volumes of time at the outset (following a little historical intro) with limp-wicked noodling. Running gag is one of the frauleins is trying to get laid by the SS officers, but no one can get it up! Leave it to Ray to make an hour-long porn film where no one gets hard for the first third...
Nominal plot is eventually revealed to center around a spy who has infiltrated the bunker. In typical fashion, after she's caught, Ray stops the film cold for a minutes-long flashback, which covers not just the woman getting taken to the brothel, but also several minutes' worth of footage we've already seen at the beginning!
Eventually, Carolyn Brandt's Nazibuster appears, causing chaos and Keystone Cops chases among the troops, one of whom is frequent RDS XXX co-conspirator Will Long. Jason Wayne of BLOOD SHACK is here as well, vainly frigging away at his flaccid penis and acting like a total psycho in a performance only upstaged in screen history by his subsequent turn in SEX LIVES. At one point, Wayne, masturbating on a toilet and frantically slamming the flusher for some reason, ends up breaking the thing and getting sprayed in the face while trying to fix it (all while continuing to masturbate!). It's as apt a visual metaphor for the film as any - a mixture of total chaos and raw sewage, unfit for human consumption but impossible to ignore as it sprays across the screen.
