- Popeye and Bluto flirt with Olive and each kiss hear hand a couple times.

- Popeye and a disguised Bluto engage in a sword duel over Olive. Bluto appears to have stabbed Popeye in the chest, causing Olive to scream in horror. However, it is revealed that Bluto only stabbed a can of spinach which was hidden under Popeye's shirt. Popeye eats his spinach, which (as usual) gives him the super strength to fight back. Popeye knocks Bluto's sword out of his hand, pins him to a wall, and shreds off his tuxedo until he just wearing his sailor suit. No one is literally injured from the sword duel.
- However, Bluto grabs a television box and attempts to attack Popeye with it, but Popeye punches him, sending him across the room where he crashes into a wall with the television landing on his head knocking him unconscious.
