- Barbara Spencer: Blow an opening? With what? Don't tell me you know how to make a bomb out of a stick of chewing gum.
- MacGyver: [beat] Why, you got some?
- Andy Colson: You know it's going to take a lot more than you can carry in that knapsack to get you through all of this.
- MacGyver: Well, the bag is not for what I take Colson. It is for what I find along the way.

- MacGyver: [voice-over narration] It's funny, you know, the kind of stuff that pops into your head when you're trying to work. I remember there was this horse... a golden palomino. Ol' Man McGinny had got him in a trade, I think. I couldn't of been much more than nine or ten, at the time, but I made up my mind I was going to ride that horse. Course, knowing Ol' Man McGinny, that was going to take some doing.
- Angus MacGyver: [MacGyver is trying to disarm a missile he accidentally triggered] Alright hotshot, so you got a golden palomino between your knees, and NO reins. Now what?
- MacGyver: When someone like Jack Dalton tells me not to worry, that's precisely when I START TO WORRY.
