Arrow is winding down, the first season is nearing its conclusion. As we move forward, the show's executive producers have been allowing themselves to talk about future seasons as Arrow has become The CW's #1 show. Names like, The Question, Ted Kord, Nightwing and a few others have been discussed with the showrunners admitting that some are more likely to cameo than others. In a new interview with Andrew Kreisberg, another DC Comics fan favorite is name-dropped for a possible appearance in future episodes. With A.R.G.U.S., a rather new creation of The New 52 from Geoff Johns and Gene Ha (think Checkmate) figuring prominently in the past few episodes, it's only a matter of time before Amanda Waller and The Suicide Squad show up, right? Said Kreisberg on the subject, "The Suicide Squad is definitely something we've discussed with DC Comics. There's no definitive plans right now to...

You thought Tyler Barrol’s murder trial was complicated before? We present exhibit A: the major developments in “Justice.”
Friends in low places | We dropped into the trial two weeks after it started, just in time to see the prosecution’s pretty fantastic recreation of Tyler’s shooting, complete with two dudes acting out the night in question while wearing white dinner jackets.

The scene opens in the desert with Lois (Erica Durance) arriving in Egypt. Her dream assignment is going down the plughole fast. She picks up a manuscript with two Egyptian gods and Carter Hall (Michael Shanks) calls them star-crossed lovers. Plenty of references to those in this episode, what with Clark (Tom Welling) and Lois, Chloe (Allison Mack) and Oliver (Justin Hartley), as well as Carter and his wife, Shayera. (Which was about as close as you could get to Daniel Jackson's wife's name in Stargate SG1! - Sha're.) He comments, "guess you never know what fate has planned for you." The star-crossed lovers being an allusion towards Clark and Lois and he's here not only to keep an eye on her but ensure they do get together; or at least they can in the future. Carter as we recall is Hawkman. Clark leaves messages for Chloe about the...

Some folks may not even be aware that Angela Bassett is in the upcoming Green Lantern film, alongside star Ryan Reynolds.
In it, she stars as Dr. Amanda Waller, a scientist.
For those unfamiliar with the DC comics universe, as I am… nicknamed “The Wall,” she is a former congressional aide and government agent often placed in charge of the Suicide Squad, a semi-secret government-run group of former super-villains working in return for amnesty. She also was the former leader (code rank: White Queen) of the covert-ops organization, Checkmate. She later served as Secretary of Metahuman Affairs under President Lex Luthor.
Some of her abilities include being highly trained in logistics, strategic management, military tactics, game theory, and espionage.
In most depictions of her that I’ve seen, she’s drawn heavy, but, while promoting the upcoming Jumping The Broom, Ms Bassett was sure to let us know that she...
