We love Big Garage
pattp-113 October 2005
My grandson,3, recently became addicted to BBG, particularly one episode about a ghost. He was stricken when the episode disappeared. How often do they change? Does anyone know? Are these available on DVD? He really enjoys all the episodes and we like the tone of them. I see they were produced in Canada. Are new episodes in the works? We allow him to watch limited television, and this program seems to really engage him. His vocabulary is already extensive, and Big Garage enhances it. We hope the producers will come up with more children's programs of this quality. Bring on more. He talks to us about all the episodes, mulling the plot lines around in his head for days.

Big Big Fun & Learning!!

I found this TV series on Kids Unlimited on Video On Damand thru my local cable company (Charter Communications) and my son LOVES IT! He wants to watch them over and over again - (which is fine since we can pause, rewind etc with VOD)! He can't get enough of the stories and he is learning about not teasing because some one is different (Sound Funny) and loads of other fun lessons from sharing to caring! He sings the opening song "big big big garage" and the songs from during the show! He even sings the "Stop Sign" song when he sees a stop sign "I have something to say..." I am very glad I found this program for him to watch, there is no violence, no fighting, no swords, It is really a Great program, maybe it will make a come back on mainstream TV!

Great kids show...it even entertained me

I was really disappointed when TLC took this show off the air. I discovered it by accident back in college. I set my TV to turn on and wake me up every morning, and one night it was left on TLC. The next morning, I was awakened by the catchy tune, "Big, Big, Big Garage...Big, Big, Big, Big, Big Garage..." From that point on, I made sure to be up in time to watch my favorite show. Great characters, good story lines and good lessons. The sets were fun too. There's just something about squishy cars that can talk. I can imagine how hooked the kids who knew about this show must have been. It really is a shame to lose such a good show, and I'm surprised that it wasn't more popular. I wish it would make a comeback someday.

Warning: Spoilers
I watch this with my son now on Charter On Demand, and he loves it. It has good teachings and is great for kids to see how to treat other people no matter what they may be. Highly recommended... I personally enjoy the show as well. The songs that are sung, my son really enjoys. He will sit there and sing the theme song with the show. He really likes the one with all the taxis being scared of the spanners when they play tricks on the taxis. He really enjoys seeing Scrap! This is one for the ages. I hope that maybe this show will be picked up again, so new one come out. We have a;ready watched all the old ones that they have on Charter.
