Orlando Bloom is opening up about falling in love with Katy Perry and why he “wouldn’t change it for anything.”
The actor recently appeared on the What Now? With Trevor Noah podcast, where he shared details about their relationship after host Trevor Noah pointed out their attempt at a life of “peace” and “normalcy,” despite being in the spotlight.
“I think one of the things that I fell in love with Katy was … she hates when I say this, so I have to word it carefully, but her music was everywhere, right?” the Lord of the Rings star said in response. “When I came up, it was just on every radio station, but I wasn’t conscious of … [it] wasn’t what I was listening to, but, I fell in love with Katheryn, this girl from Santa Barbara.”

Dwayne Johnson will not endorse any presidential candidate this year, he confirmed during an interview with Fox News. It’s a change of pace for the celebrity, who publicly endorsed Joe Biden for president during the 2020 election.
“The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time,” Johnson said. “I thought, ‘I’m in this position where I have some influence and I felt it was my job then to exercise my influence [and] share: This is who I’m going to endorse.’ I’m not going to do that. I was then, the most followed man in the world, and am today, and I appreciate that… but what that caused was something that tears me up in my guts — which is division. That got me. Trevor Noah left The Daily Show, but he had no plans of slowing down.
In fact, within weeks of wrapping his seven-year run in December, he kicked off a still-ongoing, global stand-up tour, which he titled his Off the Record Tour. Now, Noah is making that set available as his latest Netflix special, which will roll out on the service Dec. 19.
The hour, Where Was I, has Noah sharing his comical experiences from his recent travels, which range from foreign national anthems to varying cultural norms. The David Paul Meyer-directed special was filmed at the Fox Theatre in Detroit and marks Noah’s fourth for the service. (Earlier entries included I Wish You Would, Son of Patricia and Afraid of the Dark.) Noah served as executive producer on the series alongside his team, Sanaz Yamin, Bob Bain, Norman Aladjem and Derek Van Pelt.

Reporters pressed Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on whether he plans to run for president today, as he made a visit to Capitol Hill to meet with senators.
At a photo op with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Johnson was asked, “Are you running for president?” and “Do you plan to run for president?” But he did not answer.
Last week, Johnson said on Trevor Noah’s What Now? podcast, “At the end of the year . . . in 2022 I got a visit from the parties, asking me if I was going to run and if I could run,” Johnson said. “It was a big deal. And it came out of the blue. And it was one after the other.”
In the podcast, Johnson did not elaborate on who it was from each party who approached him, and his representatives declined to comment further. But he has previously said that he entertained the idea of a presidential bid,...

Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed that he has been asked to run for president multiple times after a 2021 poll found that 46% of Americans would support his campaign.
In his appearance as the first guest on Trevor Noah’s podcast What Now?, Johnson said, “That was an interesting poll that happened, and I was really moved by that at the end of the year in 2022, I got a visit from the parties asking me if I was going to run, and if I could run.”
He continued, “It was a big deal, and it came out of the blue. It was one after the other, and they brought up that poll, and they also brought up their own deep-dive research that would prove that should I ever go down that road. It was all very surreal because that’s never been my goal. My goal has never been to be in politics.

Dwayne Johnson revealed on Trevor Noah’s new Spotify podcast “What Now?” (via Insider) that several political parties approached him in 2022 to ask if he would run for president. The actor had floated the idea in past interviews, although he said in October 2022 that his responsibilities as a father would prevent him from actually running for office.
During their conversation, former “Daily Show” host Noah brought up a 2021 political poll that claimed 46% of U.S. adults would support Johnson’s campaign for president.
“That was an interesting poll that happened and I was really moved by that,” Johnson said. “I was really blown away and I was really honored. I’ll share this little bit with you: At the end of the year in 2022, I got a visit from the parties asking me if I was going to run, and if I could run.”

Trevor Noah’s seat at The Daily Show remains vacant, but the former host has moved on.
Beginning today, the erudite comedian will release a weekly Spotify podcast, which he’s titled What Now? With Trevor Noah. As he explains it, he’ll sit down with thought leaders of all kinds — actors, athletes, scientists, politicians and CEOs — for an intimate, wide-ranging conversation that he hopes will be both illuminating and timely. His first guest is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He’ll also offer commentary on newsworthy topics, according to the audio giant.
Between stops on his global stand-up tour, Noah Zoomed in to discuss what he misses most (and least) about The Daily Show, the times in recent months that he really wished he still had a platform and what he intends to do with this format that he couldn’t do with the last one.

Trevor Noah is entering his next act as a podcast host. The former host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” launches his deep-dive interview show, a Spotify original podcast, next week.
In each episode of the new podcast, Noah will have an extended discussion with a single guest. For now, he’s keeping mum on who will be joining him on “What Now?” but said the guests run the gamut from the famous to the obscure.
“We are very lucky,” he said in an interview with Variety. “We have a mix of massive stars as guests, and some people who nobody knows… Not everybody you speak to has to be a superstar. Someone will be No. 1 at the box office, someone will be a scientist who will change how we live for the rest of our lives.”
