Back in the halcyon days of British cinema, a host of Children's Film Foundation offering were screened to the unruly masses. This was the first one I ever saw, an engaging slice of nonsense in the Famous Five mould with a bunch of kids racing against the clock to prevent localised chaos. I've not seen it for at least 25 years so time may not have been kind, but at the time I enjoyed it and suggest this is ideal for nostalgic thirtysomethings and the undiscerning viewer.
