Ambitious failure
lor_4 February 2019
With several thousand movies and videos to his name, Rocco Siffredi's screen appearances blur together. This 2-part feature (including sequel "Rocco Never Dies -The End") is notable only for its scale, not its realization.

Reportedly $250,000 was spent to produce the pair, part of a porno spending spree in the 1990s especially in Europe, where multi-part features were quite common. The internet killed off this trend, as cheap became the watchword for contemporary pornographers.

Styled to make Rocco an action hero, albeit within the confines of Adult Cinema, the show most closely resembles the numerous action and epic production of Private Media around this time, many of which like "Millionaire" and some Antonio Adamo biggies became hits. Suffering from a very poor script by Gabriel Zero (who also appears as incompetent actor playing a Navy officer), the movie hops flamboyantly from one big European city to another, all while depicting some clumsy warfare and nuclear arms dealing among various heavies including the Russians.

Rocco's weird sense of humor dominates several sex scenes, notably a ridiculous "Six Million Dollar Man" hospital sequence in which an almost dead Rocco as our hero Zoe gets a special implant and is resuscitated by a resourceful nurse giving him a hand job, blow job and then woman-on-top anal sex. This is cross-cut with a lyrical but silly Adam & Eve erotic fantasy by the unconscious Zoe, imagining humping the beautiful superstar Nikki Andersson (as Eve with an apple) on a swing in a forest. In all sex scenes, anal action is emphasized.
