This short was written by Jay Ward's writing partner Bill Scott as part of a revived Bullwinkle series in 1970, but the series never went forward. It was eventually made into a theatrical short film as a tribute to the late Ward and Scott, and was released with the live action Dudley Do-Right (1999).
Ponsonby Britt, credited as storyboard artist, is a fictional name created by Jay Ward who credited him as executive producer on his shows. The storyboards for this short were actually done by director Steve Moore.
