During the computer games, if a contestant had done well: Host would say "...And he's jumping for joy!" - referring to the computerized man, not the contestant.
Catchphrases included:- "Eugene - the scores, please!" (Debbie sometimes called Eugene "my little tin friend" at this point). "Hidden in Eugene's mouth is the name of a river..." (or whatever). "On your screens now...!" "Now some music - have a listen to this!" "You can confer, but answers through your captain, (whoever), please!"
The computer which kept the scores was a BBC Micro called Eugene.
The undisputed thing which sticks in the minds the most were the computer games rounds. Paperboy (now there's a classic), the vault and 110m hurdles rounds (taken from a Track and Field arcade machine behind the scenes) were amongst the games used.
The star prize for the whole series was a BBC micro for your school (!), as well as the honour (and, no doubt, obligation) to play a special extra show against some of the cast of Grange Hill, EastEnders or Blue Peter.
