First, the good stuff: This has all the hallmarks of a UK documentary: good content, excellent research, & less-than-stellar production. I learned a lot about the man that I didn't know; enough to change my personal opinion of him. Several clips show him working on pieces that later became famous; these are compelling moments.
Now, the bad: The packaging opens with the claim, "The film presents Dali's entire oeuvre..." which isn't true in any sense. I purchased the DVD believing that I would be able to examine many of his finished pieces, which is not the case. There is very little work shown at all, & the few works that are featured aren't formatted or indexed in any useful manner, assuming that they are examinable at all. I'll have to stick to the print books, for now.
