Survivor 46 said goodbye to Venus Vafa on a dramatic episode where she also found an Immunity Idol.
With only seven people left in the game, everyone was scrambling to find the Immunity Idol left behind by Tiffany Ervin.
Tiffany had been blindsided by the Q Burdette smokescreen, following in the same footsteps as Hunter McKnight.
Despite those warning signs, when Venus found the Hidden Immunity Idol, she fell victim to the same need to preserve her safety net.
Rather than stay worried about making it through the night, Venus began thinking about a path to the final four.
Venus was sent packing in seventh place, making her the fifth member of the Survivor 46 jury.
Survivor 46 exit: Venus calls herself ‘fiercely loyal’
Venus is doing her Survivor exit interviews following her final episode as a player. She sat down to chat with Rob Cesterino from Rob Has a Podcast to share her thoughts about the game.

One of the biggest things that Survivor contestants have to do is find food. This is often done by trading or finding food on the island. This also makes it hard for some people, who come to the show with food allergies or other problems that puts their lives in danger thanks to the health risks this causes.
This happened this season with Liz Wilcox, who has struggled in Survivor 46 because of the show’s food rules.
Liz Wilcox Reveals Risky Survivor Food Rules
When people come on Survivor, they have to deal with surviving on an island where there is no food to start off with. The people have to win challenges so they can get tools and supplies. This includes fishing gear and more to find food to survive on. This season is in Fiki, and Liz Wilcox is allergic to most of the island’s native foods.

Hey, "Survivor" fans. Tonight, May 8, 2024, another new episode of Survivor's current season 46 did indeed hit the air, and we saw yet another blindside take place. Yes, another contestant left with a friggin immunity idol in their pocket, guys. What the hell? Tonight's episode kicked off with talk about the last tribal council meeting, which blindsided Tiffany with an idol in her pocket. Kenzie told the private cams, "This was the first time I was left out of a vote. Why am I not trustworthy? I'm confused. I feel so dumb. I got blindsided too." Charlie told Kenzie, "The move to get Tiffany out wasn't my move. It was Maria's. We thought you might tell Tiffany, which is why you were left out." Kenzie said, "It was a great move. It was a move I wanted to do. That's why I'm so mad."...

A new episode of Survivor 46 aired on Wednesday night. Would it feature another blindside?
The season has become known for blindside votes, including Tiffany Ervin going home with her Immunity Idol.
Only seven castaways remained for Survivor 46, Episode 11. They could nearly taste the upcoming finale night.
After Tiffany and Hunter McKnight got voted out with Idols in their pockets, the remaining players knew it was time to begin searching for Idols again.
Plus, it was likely that another Reward Challenge would happen, but it would be tough to duplicate the drama from the last one.
As a reminder, Liz Wilcox blew up on Q Burdette after he declined to invite her to an Applebee’s feast.

Heading into the 11th episode of “Survivor 46,” the remaining castaways had just voted out Tiffany Nicole Ervin with a hidden immunity idol in her pocket. That left seven people still in the game: three from the original Siga tribe, two from the original Nami tribe (Liz Wilcox and Venus Vafa), and two from the original Yanu tribe (Kenzie Petty and Q Burdette). So which castaway had their torch snuffed by host Jeff Probst this week?

The biggest feast Survivor’s Maria ever had wasn’t last week’s scrumptious Applebee’s meal. No sir. It was the epic blindside of Tiffany, which she says at the top of Wednesday’s episode “lit such a fire in me.” But does claiming credit for such a major move make Maria the game’s biggest target?

It’s been a dramatic season of Survivor in Fiji, with many blindsides happening at Tribal Council.
Survivor fans will hear from those castaways who got blindsided during the part on finale night.
Unfortunately, we don’t get a real Survivor 46 reunion, which would have been entertaining with this cast.
As with recent seasons of Survivor, this one also ends with the final three players and the jury celebrating together immediately after the vote for a winner.
Revealing the winner in Fiji has changed the entire tone of Survivor finale nights, but everyone is trying to get used to it.
At least the producers and CBS give Survivor fans that recap hour because not every reality competition show gets one.
When is the Survivor 46 season finale?
The Survivor 46 season finale is on Wednesday, May 22. The episode will begin with five people still competing to become the Sole Survivor.

Deal or No Deal Island Season 1 will air its final episode next week, and fans have learned that the popular spinoff has been renewed for Season 2.
Howie Mandel, executive producer of the spinoff and host of the original Deal or No Deal, took a chance that viewers would tune in and love it as much as they do the original.
The changes are good; players compete on an island in a Survivoresque way, with the Banker calling in from their private yacht anchored just off in the water.
Boston Rob Mariano has been the big star of the season, and fans have been vocal about not watching if he goes home, which leaves a problem for Season 2.

Boston Rob Mariano may have cost his game on Deal Or No Deal Island. He has been a fan-favorite the entire season and viewers are ready to stop watching if he gets sent home. Well, that could be the case. Boston Rob potentially ruined his game in the first part of the finale. This is not what he had planned, and he got this far. A simple mistake could have ruined it all.
Boston Rob Mariano Fights For Final Case
Boston Rob has been fighting for his life during this season of the show. The “Night Owls” have been against him from the beginning. This is more than likely due to his history on Survivor. However, Rob is loved by fans which in turn makes people not like anyone in the “Night Owls”. Aron Barbell was Rob Mariano’s right-hand man before he made a bad deal with the banker and was sent home.

In this week’s “Survivor 46” promo video (watch above), Kenzie Petty returns to camp after being left out of the vote that ousted her long-time ally Tiffany Nicole Ervin. Of course, Kenzie herself was targeting Tiffany at one point, but she decided in last week’s episode to write down Q Burdette‘s name instead, as the timing wasn’t right to get rid of Tiffany. Unbeknownst to Kenzie, Maria Shrime Gonzalez wanted to pad her own resume by flushing Tiffany’s hidden immunity idol, and so Maria rallied the troops and the rest is history.
The sneak peek clip begins on Night 19 at the Nuinui camp, with Kenzie telling the group around the fire, “I would have voted with y’all, if someone would have told me what was going on.” She is met by complete silence by the others.

Boston Rob Mariano’s blunder may have cost him the entire Deal or No Deal Island game.
Fan favorite Boston Rob has made it to the final four and is alone against the Night Owls. The Night Owls have been picking players off left and right, leaving Boston Rob as the opposition.
Boston Rob is an expert at Survivor, and that expertise may have had him overconfident in one of the last competitions on Deal or No Deal Island.

The first 10 episodes of the 46th season of “Survivor” aired on CBS between February 28 and May 1, 2024. These installments covered 19 days of gameplay during which three tribes of six gradually became one merged tribe of seven. Due to the circumstances of the game, some players have been seen quite a lot on camera, while others are still waiting for their chance to shine. Scroll through our “Survivor 46” screen time by castaway photo gallery above (or click here for direct access) to see how everyone stacks up against each other.
This data was calculated using a simple definition of stand-alone screen time, which is essentially any time a person can actually be seen on screen or heard off screen. Contiguous moments involving people silently and non-visibly remaining in scenes were not factored in. Each castaway’s “average per days played” does not include jury service or appearances in recaps, previews, post-boot flashbacks or exit interviews,...

No one knows when to play their idols in “Survivor 46.” After the ninth episode when Hunter McKnight was blindsided with an idol in his pocket when he did not follow his instincts, the same thing happened again in “Run the Red Light.” Meanwhile, Q Burdette attempts to win back some goodwill, which consequently leads to probably one of the biggest dramatic public meltdowns seen in the history of “Survivor.” And Maria Shrime Gonzalez starts to take some independent control in this game. Let’s break it all down in this “Survivor 46” episode as we start inching closer to the end of the season with three episodes left to go.
Liz Wilcox has not been having a great last few days, from her feeling she did not receive credit for the blindside of Soda Thompson to now being left out of the blindside of Hunter, going instead for Q. Little does...

A new Survivor deleted scene was released. It features Venus on the night before Tiffany Ervin got blindsided.

Tiffany has revealed why she didn’t use her Immunity Idol – a safety valve that would have guaranteed her a spot in the final seven.
Tiffany also revealed some shocking details about that epic blowup by Liz Wilcox. Tiffany revealed Liz was invited to join them, but that one castaway stood in her way.
But back to Venus, who had an exciting night before Tiffany’s final Tribal Council.

Monday night is the first of a two-part finale for Deal or No Deal Island Season 1, and it promises to be a nail-biter.
Only four contestants are left: Amy McCoy, Dr. Stephanie Mitchell, and Jordan Fowler leaving Boston Rob Mariano as the lone guy.
Boston Rob is the fan favorite who has undoubtedly carried the show. Each week, fans quickly share their thoughts about how Rob is doing and how upset they will be if he goes home.
Deal or No Deal Island differs from the original show because it is featured on a tropical island. A “banker” sequestered in a yacht calls in with deals for the contestant in the hot seat.
Claudia Jordan, an early contestant, was great for continuity since she was on the original as a suitcase model. As previously reported on Monsters and Critics, fans have called her a “lucky charm” for the series.

Survivor 46 has been a season of blindsides and Tiffany Ervin became the latest person to be surprised by her elimination.
With the castaways down to just eight people competing for the $1 million prize, Q Burdette was the vocalized target again.
Q became an even bigger target at the Reward Challenge when he didn’t select Liz Wilcox as one of the people to enjoy the Applebee’s feast.
But a plan was in motion thanks to Kenzie Petty, who feared that if she didn’t strike first, Tiffany would target her soon.
Despite everyone knowing Tiffany had the Hidden Immunity Idol, and despite Tiffany knowing that everyone knew, she kept it in her pocket during Tribal Council.
Tiffany made the same mistake that Hunter McKnight had made at the previous Tribal Council, and she joined him on the Survivor 46 jury.
Why didn’t Tiffany use her Immunity Idol on Survivor 46?
“Okay,...

Last week, host/producer Jeff Probst broke the internet when he announced that Season 50 of “Survivor” would welcome back returning players. For clarity’s sake, the last time former castaways came back to the island was in Season 40 for “Winners at War,” so this news was a long time coming for fans. But with “Survivor 50” not expected to film until Spring 2025 (and air in early 2026), what does that mean for the upcoming 47th, 48th and 49th installments of CBS’s reality TV show? Will they feature all-new faces or returning contestants, or perhaps a mix of both?
“I would say, generally speaking, probably new players,” Probst told Gold Derby on the red carpet at the CBS New Fall Schedule Party at Paramount Studios on Thursday, May 2. “I mean, that’s the idea. Let’s make 50 that’s the first time that we bring people back so we can really lean...

In this week’s “Survivor 46” deleted scene, Venus Vafa confesses to viewers that her clothes caught on fire in the middle of the night when she slept too close to the campfire, and that she “almost died” as a result. And sure enough, there is video evidence to prove she was indeed in danger of burning out — watch the clip above.
The video begins on Night 18 at the Nuinui camp as Venus explains in a confessional, “My unofficial role at camp at night is to tend to the fire. I’m always throwing in sticks and stuff because I’m freezing out here. And I’m always right next to it because I’m so cold and I curl right next to it in a little ball.”
The 24-year-old data analyst from Toronto, Canada adds, “But I guess I fell a little bit too much into deep sleep because as I’m sleeping,...

Survivor 46 spoilers have come from an unlikely source, as Tiffany Ervin revealed what fans didn’t see in Fiji.
A dramatic new episode of Survivor aired on Wednesday night, with Q Burdette causing more drama.
Host Jeff Probst referred to Q as a smokescreen used to get out Tevin Davis and Hunter McKnight. It couldn’t happen a third time, could it?
At the Tribal Council during the May 1 episode, Q again appeared to be the primary target, but a blindside was carried out to eliminate Tiffany instead.
Following her shocking elimination from the game, Tiffany shared thoughts about her time on Survivor 46. And it included a huge revelation.
According to Tiffany, Liz Wilcox had a chance to go to the Applebee’s feast, but Q stopped it from happening.

CBS announced not only its fall schedule, but a full lineup for the 2024-2025 broadcast season at a Los Angeles press briefing on Thursday.
As “Young Sheldon” is currently wrapping up its final season on Thursdays at 8 p.m., a headline of the slate is spinoff series “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” taking over that spot, leading into “Ghosts” at 8:30 p.m. Additionally, “Tracker” — not only the No. 1 new series of the 2023-2024 season, but the most-watched series overall — is getting an earlier position, moving from Sundays at 9 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Several CBS traditions remain intact. Tuesdays remain “FBI” night with the flagship series airing at 8 p.m. followed by “FBI: International” at 9 p.m. and “FBI: Most Wanted” at 10 p.m. On Mondays, “NCIS” holds onto its 9 p.m. timeslot, and after the cancellation of “NCIS: Hawai’i,” it’s 9:30 p.m. position will be taken...

Drew Barrymore will serve as the centerpiece of an updated version of “Hollywood Squares,” which CBS has picked up to air in January. The Eye network announced the reimagined “Hollywood Squares,” with Barrymore as the center square, on Thursday as it unveiled its schedule for the 2024-2025 TV season. CBS today became the first broadcast network to present its fall schedule. And, in line with CBS’ new strategy for long-term development and planning, the network announced its schedule for the entire 2024-25 season. It is contingent on IATSE making a new deal with the studios to avoid a strike. At the unveiling of the schedule, George Cheeks, President and CEO of CBS, said that they have contingency plans should a work stoppage occur but wouldn’t elaborate further. “If we need to delay, we are ready,” he said.

CBS executives were keenly aware of the elephant in the room Thursday as new co-ceo George Cheeks and entertainment president Amy Reisenbach opened their fall schedule presentation by addressing the latest rumblings in the sale process of parent company Paramount Global.
“It’s a super quiet, uneventful week for us,” Cheeks quipped as he kicked off the hourlong presentation just moments after news broke that Sony and Apollo submitted a $26 billion cash offer to buy Paramount Global.
Other than addressing morale — “we’ve all locked arms” and are “focusing on what we can control,” Cheeks said — both execs spent the press briefing at the Paramount offices in Hollywood focused on CBS and its 2024-25 schedule.
Cheeks and Reisenbach opened with a victory lap of sorts as CBS finished the strikes-impacted 2023-24 in first place, breaking a decades-old record set by the network with 16 straight season victories and 21 of the past 22 years.
