This documentary does a very good job at talking about Owensby early years and how he eventually became a cult figure thanks to his movie studio in North Carolina.
The documentary does a very good job at talking about the various films that Owensby made and we get some good production stories about them. This includes talk about CHALLENGE, WOLFMAN, LIVING LEGEND: THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL, DOGS OF HELL and DARK Sunday among others. There's some nice stories from people who worked with Owensby as well as the man himself who shares some stories about these movies including the pain of WOLFMAN and its costume as well as the 3D boom and why he felt JAWS 3 ruined everything. If you're interested in Owensby then this is certainly a nice documentary.
