Even though TUBBY THE TUBA is a member of a great orchestra, he is envious of the other instruments who can produce beautiful melodies. So, Tubby decides to go off and find a melody of his own. Tubby's travels take him to the circus, where he manages an amazing troupe of dancing elephants, to Singing City, where all the orphan tunes live, and finally deep into the forest, where the bull frog sings his throaty song - all in search of his special melody. With the help of his new-found friends, Tubby soon finds what he is looking for, and triumphantly returns to the orchestra for a rousing hero's welcome.
