"The Small Hours" opened at the 55th Street Playhouse in NY City on August 13, 1962 with a benefit for the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) Film Library.
The Small Hours is preserved in the MoMA Film Library and was screened at the MoMA in New York in April 2016 with the presence of its writer/director, Norman Chaitin, who died later that year at the age of 92.
