NEW YORK -- Valentine's Day is coming up, and ABC News is thinking of romance. The unit is developing a documentary about online dating as part of its 24/7 series of shows that started in summer 2000 with Hopkins 24/7, a look at life inside Baltimore's Johns Hopkins medical facility. The network is trolling the Internet for juicy tales to chronicle for the dating show, according to a note posted on Craigslist.org. "ABC 24/7 producer needs your hot Craigslist personals stories!" the headline reads. "An ABC News documentary series, Dating 24/7, is looking for people willing to share on camera the ups and downs of romantic adventures on Craigslist -- dating, relationships, sex and other interesting encounters." An ABC News spokesman cautioned that the one-hour show is "in the very earliest stages" and may not even make it to air. ABC's next 24/7 series will delve into the New York Police Department in a seven-part series.
