Warning: Spoilers
. . . which happens at least one per cent of the time on this web site, which is why only eight people have voted on this live action short as of today (though untold millions have viewed it). That's what happens when data is shuffled around untouched by human hands, and no one bothers to read the titles that are plastered big-as-life on these mislabeled documentaries. Specifically, there NEVER was such a thing as THE MAKING OF THE GOODBYE GIRL (1977). Anyone with eyes in their head (and that does NOT include the TERMINATOR-like machines of the future present) will note that the actual name of this piece is THE AMAZING QUINN CUMMINGS: AN ACTRESS AT WORK AND PLAY. (Ms. Cummings plays Marsha Mason's daughter in the feature movie.) When a web site's computers unquestioningly accept the misinformation fed in by unpaid data entry interns swilling down their Starbucks at production studios and TV networks, it's a case of "Garbage In, Garbage Out." Thousands of us are fully qualified to produce highly accurate facts, but corporate prejudice against people using their brains mitigates against these human resources being used. Some call this The American Way.
