During the concert, while "Nothing Else Matters" was being played, 'Kirk Hammett's ear monitor malfunctioned. He tried to tell a technician this by saying "There's nothing in my ear!" The technician responded "We're playing 'Nothing'!" thinking that Hammett meant that "Nothing Else Matters" was in his ear.
Michael Kamen originally composed the orchestra piece in the song 'Nothing Else Matters'. He then suggested the band should do a gig with an orchestra; the band said they would consider it. 8 years later the band rang Kamen confirming they would do the show. Stating that the spoke to Kamen about it 'a little while ago'.
As of 1999, at least one song from every Metallica album is performed here, except for Kill 'Em All, which was their first album.
