Sex & Nudity

  • A male demon (human like) is seen twice in the movie but we couldn't see any nudity. Perhaps, more implied nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • In the unrated version the father has his neck stabbed open by a pen, blood is shown more graphicly than the rated version.
  • Also there are brief scenes which show children having their throats slit.
  • A man cuts himself while trying to prepare food for dinner. His wife, while trying to help, gets blood on her hands and blood is seen dripping on the floor. This is not shown very graphicly.
  • While trying to get to his son who is in danger, a man slams his hand against glass, you can see blood smeared on the glass and his hand is also bloody.

Profanity

  • The "F" word is used mutiple (aprox. 12) times in the unrated version.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The father is shown taking prescription drugs. At one point he overdoses on them.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many scenes could be considered frightening, including dead children shown standing in shadows. Also there are scenes that will make you jump, such as phones ringing unexpectedly.
  • A father tries to get into a room where his wife and son are, the wife is holding a box cutter to use as a weapon.
