Americans do it better
El Pez11 February 2001
This is the example of how Italians try to imitate USA sit-comedies. The show is articulated like "Friends", the main characters are 6 students (3 guys and 3 girls) who live together. But "friends" is better. In "via Zanardi, 33" the problem is that the dialogues aren't so funny and the actors aren't so good. Actually most of them aren't neither professional actors. Some of them were chosen because of their popularity among the youngsters, like the former VJ of Mtv Italy Enrico Silverstrin and the lead singer of the Italian boy band Lunapop Cesare Cremonini who stars in some episodes. I'm Italian and I hate to say so, but Americans do better than us this kind of shows. I think that if you want to copy a thing, you should try also to improve it, this doesn't happen in "via Zanardi, 33". At least the creators should have removed that irritating laughing out of frame. It seems to suggest that what you are seeing is funny, that you too ought to laugh. I think I hope I'm intelligent enough to understand when something is comic or not.
