If this is real...
ebiros22 September 2012
The documentary is about KGB project named ISIS. Project ISIS is Soviet's covert effort in Egypt looking for evidence of extraterrestrial visitation. In 1961, alleged discovery took place of 13000 year old alien tomb, and mummy of an alien.

If this sounds fantastic, you are right. The story alleges that pyramids were made around 13000 years ago, and it was made using alien technology.

There is no conflict between this claim, and the evidence that is Egypt. The fact that the pyramids are made in the image of constellation Orion, the fact that Cairo means "Mars", and recent findings that the Sphynx was made 13000 years ago.

The documentary does a good job of collecting the evidence. The fact that Russia was spending over 40% of its foreign aid to Egypt and undercover archaeologists were sent there to research the Egypt's past history. And the footage of alleged alien tomb, which is sensational.

There is nothing that proves that this is a real story, but it aligns seamlessly with current view of Egyptology based on the most recent findings.

It's the most sensational story in Egyptology, and the documentary done very well. Something worth looking into.

Not sure I agree 100%

Warning: Spoilers
I did find some of the comments interesting, although it does seem to have a few flaws. I agree that the behavior of the alleged Russian Mafia guy was a bit unrealistic, especially the "Free Gift" Video for doing business - seems a bit un Mafia-like if that's even a word. I recognized a few bits of footage but in the end it was worth watching just for review purposes. I think it is erroneous to say "Don't bother".

I did notice that there are no credits or subtitles or even verbal mention of the female scientist / archaeologist who gave her opinions on the development of Egypt. She said "We are excavating..." implying that she is engaged in some project at the time of recording, which sounds authoritative - and you would think then that the producers would at least credit her as a major contributor to the project. Did I miss it? Does anyone know who she was? Surely after repeating the name of the author of the book on who's theory the show is based around innumerable times you would think the "Critic" would at least get mentioned once.

I'd at least like to be able to see more of her work to form a rational judgment on her comments. I tend to agree with her views but then she didn't advance an alternative theory for the rapid development of Egypt either.

Disappointed...

Warning: Spoilers
I'm always on the lookout for a great UFO program and I have to say this is one of the WORST "documentary" specials that I have seen. All of their exclusive "footage" looks utterly phony. The only thing that I could think throughout the entire program was, "Is this a joke?". All the "scientists" and children of the "abducted" seemed to be nothing more than C-List actors trying to pay the rent. The footage of the former KGB courier, now turned Russian mafia courier was at best laughable. How funny is it that the producer happened to ask about a tape that he didn't know existed and the man happened to have it? My point is, if you'd like to watch a serious special on UFO phenomena, skip out on this one. This special was nothing more than a low grade spoof.

Feels 'fake' because it is 'Real.'
ebqrkhf23 April 2022
If you have ever rewatched yourself being recorded unknowingly, it will look fake. I would assert these clips appear to have very 'real' reactions on their faces, and a lot of the concepts & historical accuracy matches the science of Professionals such as Dr. Robert Schoch and Graham Hancock.

It's also fascinating to see the Russians found the same time timeline as Schoch & Hancock! (10,500 B. C.) for alignment within the tomb.

I loved this series.
