I was about 13 years old when this episode came out- The song "Don't be afraid of the dark" has always stuck in my head. I loved the song, and the story ilne may have been cheesy for some, but I personally enjoyed it. I have been trying to find this song for a couple decades now. I just remember the name of the first name of the actor. I could not remember the name of the movie or that it was on the Wide World - ABC ... Anyway, watching an old episode of Mannix last night and saw long blonde haired man... I checked the credits and was so happy - then I just did IMDB - the rest is history.. Anyway, I really enjoyed the episode :) and Great music Rest in Peace Kim Milford

This movie really sucked. I should know because I was in it playing the part of Panda. It was my first acting role. I went out for the lead part as the handsome musician hero. The movie took place in a night club in Hollywood. When the casting director heard what I was doing at the time (singing in the street for tips) they decided to cast me as the resident crazy psycho musician freak and prime murder suspect. Naturally I didn't do it. I was made to dress in an army mummy sleeping bag with the feathers coming out and told not to shave for the next week or two. I looked like a stoned, unshaven, long haired biker caterpillar. Though the movie was really bad my performance was pretty good considering it was my first acting venture and what I had to work with but it did little to further my acting career and I never acted in a film again. Fortunately my music career continued successfully.
