The old photos seen in the opening credits sequence were purchased for a buck apiece.
The nocturnal scenes were shot day for night.
According to Douglas Snauffer, his shared screenwriters credit on this movie was primarily contractual. He was hired to write an early draft of the script, but most of his material was discarded by director David P. Barton. "Dave had a very strong vision of where he wanted this movie to go," Snauffer has stated, "and he is a very capable writer. Dave did a great job of making the movie he wanted to make, and he deserves the credit for his work."
Shot in eight days.
