Whitney Houston's estranged husband Bobby Brown has been arrested again in Massachusetts for failing to appear at a child support hearing in October. The My Prerogative singer was apprehended at Attleboro High School on Sunday night, on a warrant for failing to appear at the hearing. He was in town to watch his daughter Bobbi Kristina at a cheerleading competition. In October, Brown paid $11,000 in delinquent child support after being threatened with arrest if he stepped back into Massachusetts. He owed over two months of payments to Kim Ward, the mother of two of his teenage children, LaPrincia and Bobby III. In June 2004, Brown was sentenced to 90 days in prison for missing three months of child support payments, which was suspended after he immediately paid the $15,000 he owed.

Bobby Brown is baffled by claims he once propositioned actress Tamala Jones - because she was dating his brother at the time. The My Prerogative singer was stunned by the claims his Two Can Play That Game co-star made in a recent issue of America's Smooth magazine, alleging Brown was prepared to cheat on his wife Whitney Houston. Jones claims Brown once propositioned her by saying, "Don't you know I always wanted to f**k you?" but the singer insists the actress is mistaken. He says, "I never propositioned her. Me and her, we did a movie together. In fact, the first time I heard about the Tamala Jones thing was two days ago. I don't know what she's talking about. Good luck with anything she's trying to do, but I never tried to hit on her or anything. Actually, she was dating my brother." Houston and Brown recently denied rumors they are heading for the divorce courts.

Superstar Whitney Houston and fallen R&B singer Bobby Brown's 14-year marriage is reportedly on the rocks, with the couple planning to divorce. The New York Daily News reports the My Prerogative singer, 36, has been telling friends and acquaintances he is divorcing Houston, 42, after an infamously tumultuous marriage. Earlier this month, the former New Edition band member was reportedly seen flirting with a group of beauties backstage at an all-star concert featuring R&B groups SWV, Guy and Blackstreet at the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. A backstage source tells the Daily News, "While flirting with a bunch of women, they asked, 'What's up with your wife?' Bobby said, 'We ain't together no more. We're getting a divorce.'" The couple are frequently at the centre of tabloid stories about their admitted drug and alcohol battles and in December 2003, Brown was arrested on charges of misdemeanor battery against Houston in their Georgia home. The couple have one child together - daughter Bobbi Kristina, 12.

Bobby Brown insists shooting his upcoming reality TV show has helped him and his wife, Whitney Houston, overcome their drug demons because the series showed them both how normal, but troubled their lives were. Being Bobby Brown, which doesn't feature any drug abuse, had led Brown to suggest it may have been just what his wife needed to show her she still had a problem. She checked into a rehabilitation facility after the series was filmed. Brown says, "I think it (the show) brought us closer together because it showed us that we're just normal." But the My Prerogative singer insists the rumored alcohol and drugs hell he and his wife went through is now in the past and he and Houston are sober and well. He adds, "The smell, the look in her eyes right now... just everything about her is what I met and I'm hoping that everything about me is what she met, and we're working hard at keeping our relationship maintained - and clean and sober." Brown insists it's time fans got behind the couple and stopped criticizing them for living a life they read about in tabloids. He explains, "If you love us and you like what we do as artists please just give us that, because that's what we give the most of, that's what we concentrate on, we concentrate on being the best singers and entertainers for you. When you try to break us down with our personal lives that really effects us. So, if I could say anything to people right now that's be to pray for us to be better."...

R&B star Bobby Brown has two reasons for appearing in a reality TV show - he wants a distraction to keep him off drugs, and to clean up his image for his children. The My Prerogative singer who, along with his wife Whitney Houston, has endured drug abuse problems and a fading career in recent years, admits he has high hopes that Being Bobby Brown would turn around a series of negative events in his life. The father-of-four says, "I needed to do something to stay out of trouble. Too much free time ain't too good for someone like me. And now that I'm feeling healthy and off the drugs and other stuff I was doing - I feel like getting myself back on track. But honestly, the main reason I wanted to do this is really for my kids. They're always saying, 'Daddy, why do they always make you look so bad in the press?' You know? They don't see their father as a screw-up." The show will debut on US TV on June 30.

Disgraced singer Bobby Brown has been hit with an arrest warrant after he refused to attend court for a child support hearing. The My Prerogative hitmaker, 36, was called to a family court in Canton, Massachusetts, following allegations he failed to pay support costs for his two children with former lover Kim Ward. Brown's lawyer Melissa Whish claimed her client had a virus, but court register Patrick McDermott ordered for the warrant to be issued as he had not received proof of Brown's ill health. Brown is charged with failing to make payments to an educational trust for LaPrincia, 14, and 12-year-old Bobby Jr, and he has also failed to prove his source of income. And this is not the first time Whitney Houston's troubled husband has been under fire for missing child support payments - last June he was slammed with a 90 day prison sentence for missing payments for three months. However, the sentence was suspended when Brown paid up $63,500 after spending just one day behind bars. But the 90 day sentence can be imposed once more if he is found guilty at his current trial. Brown is expected to agree to paying $160,000 over the next six months to establish the trust funds. The courtroom chaos has struck at an awkward time for Brown - only last week two members of his entourage were stabbed at Sean 'P Diddy' Combs' Atlanta, Georgia restaurant.

Two members of Bobby Brown's entourage have been hospitalised after suffering knife wounds during a fight at Sean 'P Diddy' Combs' Atlanta, Georgia restaurant early yesterday. Authorities believe My Prerogative singer Brown was not involved. Brown, who lives outside Atlanta with his wife Whitney Houston, was at Justin's Restaurant and Bar performing during a weekly open microphone event, when two members of his group were either cut or stabbed following a verbal altercation, say police. Authorities are looking for the suspects, who drove away. The cause of the fight has not yet been determined. Police detective Dl Dixon says, "There was a lot of music and talking going on. It could have been something as simple as a bump, you know, somebody bumped into each other." Shayne Brown, 21, and Kelsey Brown, 20, were treated at separate hospitals, and both were in stable condition yesterday. Attorney Vincent L. Dimmock says Combs and his company, Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group, are cooperating with the criminal investigation.

Troubled R&B star Bobby Brown has reportedly demanded $1 million to sit down with tabloid The National Enquirer for an interview. The publication's senior reporter Patricia Shipp recently phoned the My Prerogative singer at his hotel in Antigua to ask if he'd chat on the record about a story in The National Enquirer's April 25 issue concerning alleged flings. The publication reported that Brown enjoyed sexual escapades in Antigua with other women, while wife Whitney Houston is in a rehabilitation clinic at the island's Crossroads Center. Shipp tells website Eurweb, "He told me that he would talk to me if I paid him $1 million." Brown reportedly stressed to Shipp that the interview had to take place face-to- face. He also wanted cash. She adds, "He said absolutely no checks... What could you possibly say that is worth $1 million?"...

Troubled R&B star Bobby Brown has been jailed for 90 days or until he pays the $63,500 in child support he owes the mother of two of his children. Brown, released early from a Georgia jail on Monday - where he was serving time for a probation violation - so he could attend the contempt hearing, cried as he was led from the courtroom to be jailed in Massachusetts' Norfolk County House Of Correction. Judge Paula Carey issued the ruling after the My Prerogative singer, 35- year-old husband of Whitney Houston, testified that he was unable to pay support he owes for children, now 12 and 14, that he fathered with Kim Ward. Carey said the financial statement the troubled former pop star provided the court "lacks all credibility" and declined his lawyers' offers to pay $10,000 by the end of Wednesday, an additional $15,000 within 10 days and negotiate the rest. Brown, who was more than four hours late for the hearing, testified in a hushed voice, telling the judge that he was unable to pay because he had no job and no income. His attorney, Vincent Dimmock, said although Brown had been a successful pop singer in the 1980s and early 1990s, he has "been nowhere near that in recent years". Houston, who recently spent five days in a drug rehabilitation centre, did not attend Brown's hearing.

Troubled R&B pioneer Bobby Brown was released from jail a month early on Monday - to attend an emergency hearing in a Massachusetts family court. On February 27 the My Prerogative singer, 35, was sentenced to 60 days in an Atlanta, Georgia prison, after he violated his probation terms from a past drink-driving charge. One violation relates to a misdemeanor battery charge in which police claim Brown allegedly hit his wife Whitney Houston in December, leaving her cheek bruised and lip cut. Houston is currently in rehabilitation for reported drug abuse after being admitted 10 days ago. Brown is to attend the emergency hearing on Wednesday after DeKalb County, Georgia Sheriff Thomas Brown was presented with an order requiring the presence of the singer. He has been summoned to the family court in relation to an unspecified paternity suit.
