Pretty Weak Plot
ameliasolum6 May 2005
Two friends Derek (Zachary ty Bryan from Home Improvement) and Natasha (Fabiana Udenio from Peter Benchley's Amazon) decide to follow their dreams of becoming champions on the underground wrestling circuit. However, as in all movies (notice I did not say in all GOOD movies) they inevitably encounter numerous semi-comical roadblocks. They have a much more difficult time achieving their dreams as they had intended, go figure! They eventually end up meeting their long-time wrestling idol only known as the Slammer, played by Sasha Mitchell (Cousin Cody from the TV show Step by Step), who helps them out with their dream. Truthfully, the only decent performance in this movie is given by Sasha, he really does have a knack for comedy. Anyway, if you are, like me, a Sasha Mitchell fan, you will somewhat enjoy this movie. If not, avoid at all costs!

It's fun T&A flick. It's funny but really corny and predictable but I do wish their was more of Sasha Mitchell's chacter Slammer. The two main characters are pretty good the Main villain is pretty hateable but all and All it was good.

b movie but i can't stop watching it

I don't know what it is but I like this friggin movie.... I bought it on ebay when I found out that Sasha Mitchell was in it and yea it definitely is a B-movie and definitely sucks. But there is just something about it that I dig.. Maybe it takes me back to the Up all night b movie ramas they would show with Rhonda Sheer back in the day...There's just something about b movies that have always stirred some intrigue in me... Beyond that, Zach Ty Bryan does a pretty good acting job in this film as well as Sasha pulling off a pretty good performance as a beefed up wrestler..Crappy movie but entertaining, buy it today.

Slammed!!!!

I purchased this DVD for $2.00 at the local cheapo store. I noticed straight away that it featured Sasha Mitchell (who i have watched since the Kickboxer sequels 2 3 and 4) and as that Character Cody from that TV show i cant remember the name of. Its good to see he was still in shape and morphing those Karate skills into the wrestling world.

It stars Justin Whalin (dungeons and dragons) and Zachary Bryan (home improvement) as a couple of wrestling fanatics wanting to break into the bar room wrestling scene and live the dreams of being a wrestler and manager, instead of working in the bar/wrestling club watching the women go bye and knowing if given a chance they could make it big and Put on a better show. The movie was not made to be taken too seriously, it contains the typical teen movie "must haves" ingredients Partys, beer, bongs, boobs, wet T shirt comps, fighting etc and integrates the cult sport of wrestling into the feature.

There are many scenes that are entertaining and funny the casting of tommy "tiny" Lister was a good choice as well.

The plot of the film wasn't the best, but overall i was entertained. The sounds track wasn't too bad as well with some good songs. Overall 6/10
