Scottish shock-comedian and master close-up magician Jerry Sadowitz hosted a show from New York where he would spar with the great and the good, but mostly the general public of New York. Be it mad, obese Dick Clark fans, seventy year-old women with their breasts on display or angry audience members trying but failing to score points over Sadowitz, every encounter provoked hilarity, thought, tears and vomitas - all at the same time in some cases.
A pre-very-famous Richard Cheese provided the Sinatra-esquire theme tune while Channel 5 - the UK producer of the show - prefaced its just-post-9/11 broadcasts with a caveat that the show had been filmed before the tragedy.
Comedy gold that must arrive on DVD or video as soon as possible!
