The Blake and the Lakes are furious when their sons, Eddie and Arthur, are expelled from school. Arthur gets off with a warning but Eddie's father tells him to get himself a wife and settle down within two weeks or be disinherited. Arthur impersonates a woman and acts as Eddie's wife to pacify the old man. but instead of being pacified. His savage breast is torn with infatuation for the young wife of his son. Eddie's sister and her girl friend visit the couple at their love nest. Arthur falls in love with Eddie's sister and refuses to carry on the bluff any longer. Eddie, in love with the girl friend is still afraid of the old man and tries to keep Arthur from divorcing him. They fight, clothes are torn off and the truth is out. After a rough tilt with the old man, who comes with flowers for "Juliet", two sets of wedding bells get ready to ring out.
