At the Hex, Tommy Lee Jones is holding a candle that goes out and is re-lit. The candle is short at this point. Near the end of the scene he holds the candle up and it's much longer.
Towards the end of the movie when Sharp is handcuffed to the steering wheel, Heather is seen removing her bobby pin twice.
When Roland and Heather are talking and the newspaper is on the table with the story about Roland's partner being wounded, Heather's hair goes from neat and combed to unkempt in successive shots.
When shooting out the tyre on the bus, Roland aims with his right hand but in the reverse shot the gun is fired with his left hand.
Following the opening action sequence, when Sharpe is introducing his partner to Eddie Zane, his hat shows a small tear on the brim at one o'clock to him. In subsequent shots, the tear has disappeared.
When Heather is talking to Sharp, she says that Full Metal Jacket is her favorite movie, but goofs on where Private Joker's "Born to Kill" and his peace symbol are located. She claims that there is one on each side of his helmet. In reality, the "Born to Kill is on the front of his helmet while the peace symbol is a pin on his collar.
Heather claims to have had Professor McCarthy the previous quarter, but the University of Texas at Austin runs on the semester system (Fall, Spring, Summer).
The bus at the end reads "Turista Internacionale" which is a very common translation error. It should read "Turista Internacional".
When the score of the game is shown, it says Texas 14 Arkansas 0. Arkansas won the game 38-28 and were never behind 14-0. The only Texas lead was 7-0 after their first possession.
When the bus turns over at the border you can see the smoke from the explosive cannon they use to flip the bus.
When the bus hits the small silver sedan, you can see several sets of skid marks on the pavement that were obviously left by previous takes or practices in exactly the same location.
Sharp comes out of the grocery store with 3 bags in his cart and stops and asks Molly if a key he found was hers. After giving her the key, he hands her one of his bags for her to put in her vehicle and her cart is nowhere in site.
Mid-way through the film, the courthouse is shown flying two flags from the same staff, with the Lone Star flag above the Stars & Stripes. Texas flag etiquette dictates that the state flag should never be flown higher than the national flag, out of deference.
