A two-part melodrama by Richard Ridgely and set in a Southern community. The story is fashioned after the regular, semi-rural romance, but it has suspense in a measure and an entertaining quality. The characters are really ordinary, though the author has endowed Meg with a partial freshness that pleases. The incidents are well thought out and seem new all through. Mabel Trunnelle plays Meg and is the only truly strong element in the offering. The author is also the director. - The Moving Picture World, August 1, 1914
