Not that special
rbverhoef14 December 2003
The people who had something to do with the movie 'You Can Count on Me' sit down and talk about it. Laura Linney (she played Sammy), Mark Ruffalo (Terry), Rory Culkin (Rudy) and Matthew Broderick (Brian) talk about their roles and their favorite scenes. Writer and director Kenneth Lonergan who also played reverent Ron talks about his ideas for this movie and how it was made.

It is nice to hear these people talk about this great movie, but it is not something special. I liked it because I liked the movie so much, I guess.

Great Movie!!

Laura Linney is excellent!! She has to be one of the most underrated actresses in Hollywood. Mark Ruffalo's role as her young brother living on the edge was made for him. He too was exceptional. Add Matthew Broderick's (always wonderful) performance and Kenneth Lonergan's outstanding screenplay and brilliant first time direction you have a great movie.
