A picture based upon a novel feature. A beautiful woman impulsively engages two thugs to mar her husband's beauty so that she may the more readily retain his love, as he possesses such attractive personal charms that he is a favorite with all women. Then she confesses her fault, but his love stands the test and all trouble is removed. Like all Biograph films, this one has many elements of strength, and the acting of the Biograph players is sympathetic and strong, yet aside from this one novel point the drama contains no particular interest to an audience. The happy ending is an added feature which helps it. - The Moving Picture World, April 2, 1910
