BBC did us proud
Pedant-skewer8 March 2018
OK, as Robert Bauval's co-author on 'The Orion Mystery', I have a vested interest here. However I would like to take this opportunity to thank the BBC for the fantastic job they did in creating this record of what is still the only theory about the Pyramids of Giza that makes sense.

Without indulging in fairy tales about aliens or supermen, they told the story as it is and this is amazing enough. Put simply, the Great Pyramids of Giza were built to represent the Belt of Orion. So thank you BBC for a documentary that has stood the test of time.

this movie had great potential....

While much is known about the pyramids found throughout the world, there are still many mysteries surrounding them. The effort to understand these ancient structures has lead to a wide variety of beliefs about them, ranging from mundane explanations of their origin to fantastic claims about alien visitors and mystical "pyramid power". Perhaps the greatest mystery of all is exactly why people believe some of the strange things that they do. To be completely honest, this movie had great potential but didn't really catch my attention much. Don't get me wrong, it may for some, but for me…it didn't. I give it a 5 out of 10.
