- Elena is a rich woman married to a handsome professional who had been unfaithful to her in the past. One day she finds an earring under the bed and recognizes it as his secretary's: he's still cheating on her. She goes to a mall: massage, hair- dresser, boutique. Then she answers a nutritional survey and then...she kills herself. Unfortunately she does it by throwing herself under a train packed with soccer fans who are going to the big match. The Railway Manager has to decide: human kindness or soccer fever? He decides for the first choice but when he faces a mob of screaming fans he changes his mind. Trains with cheering supporters pass by the corpse. On one of those cars there is Raffaele, Elena's husband. Meanwhile at the villa, the maid finds the earring on the sidewalk: she picks it up, smiles and attaches it to her ear.—Anonymous
