Maggie Haskins has been promoted to manager at Principato-Young Entertainment, bringing the number of company’s managers and production executives to 23. Haskins’ promotion was announced at a Pye trainee talent show. There, under the ruse of her winning first prize, Haskins was handed her manager’s stripes and new business cards by a surprise guest, Pye client Rob Riggle, whom she worked closely with on Peter Principato’s desk. Michael Antinoro has joined Dick Clark Prods. as Evp programming. Working with dcp president Orly Adelson, Antinoro will focusing on developing reality and scripted projects for TV and online. He will work out of dcp’s Manhattan and Los Angeles offices and, because he is expected to spend more time in New York, will be reporting to New York-based dcp CEO Mark Shapiro. Antinoro, who most recently served as Evp of entertainment and marketing for Six Flags Entertainment Corp., did two stints at Espn, most recently as executive producer of Espn’s then-newly created division, Espn Original Entertainment. There he worked on such series as Playmakers, which was executive produced by Adelson, World Series of Poker, Dream Job, and Rome Is Burning.

If there's ever been a more appropriate metaphor for Antm than this week's photoshoot, I don't know what it is: All aboard the S train, which just shuttles back and forth, back and forth, never really making much of a journey, and always smelling like career failure and boiling garbage. (Trust me.) So it is with Top Model, loathe to break any new ground or move in compelling, fresh directions; instead it just sways to and fro, from Grand Central to Times Square, from ratty weaves to arguments about respect, from annoying "you don't know me" screaming matches to over-enthusiasm for Seventeen magazine.

ESPN has ordered a second season of Dream Job, an unscripted series that awarded an amateur anchor a one-year stint on SportsCenter. The sports network will conduct another nationwide search along with producers Jumbolaya Prods. and BlondEndeavor. The new season is expected to air in January.
