Real or not, I really don't know
Mag0525 February 2007
maybe you want to watch that video yourself Travis and actually listen to the dialogue, it tells what the 'doctors' are doing and why,it also tells why its in near dark and even why the 'aliens' head appears jerky ('like most animals', bit of a strange thing to say when we are talking about a supposed 'alien being'). I'm not saying its real or not because I simply don't know, but your comments were all centered on things that were explained in the video. Watch it again but this time try turning your sound up a notch.

Its certainly thought provoking if nothing else, I really wouldn't like it to be real because I'd hate to think we treated any supposed ET's in the way depicted in the video.

One of the things that did stick in my mind was the special effects guy saying he could do better, but we had already seen his 'creations' in the reconstruction sequences and they looked laughable.

A Very Interesting and CONVINCING documentary
movielova119 April 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This documentary circulates around a mysterious video tape, somehow retrieved from Area 51. The owner of this tape didn't want to compromise his identity, and so he was only known and referred to as: Victor. Victor reluctantly allows himself to be interviwed and is very careful about answering questions that could endanger employees at the fabled Area 51, and his own. And then it comes to the tape itself and the location of Area 51; if any. The tape shows a typical alien: Rounded head, big bulging black eyes etc. We are also informed about the existence of Area 51 and the "paranoid fantasies" or actual real events that are told to us. The interview tape itself is shown to you in its entirety. However, "victor" the shadowey supplier of this tape, does not want to expose the existence of Area 51; but only that of Aliens. It is also noted, that there is no speaking or real sound in this duplicated tape; but only a soundtrack. Victor does not think it fair to compromise the identities of those involved. An overall good watch!!!!

Ignorance is bliss
It's easy to be sceptic. It's easy to deny everything. I don't know if this is real, BUT there's are a ton of other material and witnesses around. No smoke without fire. Sceptics are just too afraid to let that thought in their head, that aliens most probably exist. For example, Ariel School 1994. All those kids are very good actors, right?

Proof of Aliens?
Max_Doobermin23 September 2006
Now, I am a person who believes the stories about the EBE and the reverse engineering of crafts, and alien intervention in human evolution. I believe those kinds of wild things. But there is just something about this interview for me that doesn't hold up. The director is doing "Night of the Living Dead 3D." The supposed production company in the movie doesn't even exist as far as i can tell (Rocket Pictures). In the IMDb company credits for this movie there is a company whose sound stage was used. The company also did the animatronics for Star Kid. Star Kid is a sci-fi family adventure with a strange looking robot like alien. However, the basic design of the animatronic face is eerily similar to that of the EBE in this interview. Perhaps Broadstreet and Benson had a cool concept of creating an elaborate mockumentary based on all the information they had heard about aliens. Or perhaps they were even paid to put on such a hoax to provide disinformation. Vega 7 produced this movie and only this movie. Is it not possible that this animatronics company created EBE and used their sound stage to record this infamous footage? I am not saying for sure whether or not this is real. I am just saying that this image could easily be achieved through puppetry and animatronics. But then again...this could be the only known footage of a real live alien being. I guess ultimately it's your call.

Completely Fake
lweber869 November 2010
Warning: Spoilers
This video is definitely entertaining. I enjoyed watching it and the video of the interview is somewhat convincing the alien, to me, looks real.

But, I believe that the entire thing is a huge fake. Not the just the video itself, but everything. Rocket Pictures is (was) a real company, but that's the only real part. The whole story is fake. It isn't like someone faked the video and then this Victor guy is acting like he worked at Area 51 and trying to fool Rocket pictures. My theory is that "Victor" doesn't exist. He is an actor. His answers to the questions aren't consistent. And if you watch the version that has the second interview with Victor, he is an entirely different person- meaning the way he acts is entirely different (obviously you don't know if it is or isn't because his identity is concealed). He is much more opinionated and discloses all sorts of information that really doesn't have anything to do with the original interview with the Alien. It all just seemed very theatrical to me. Also the supposed owner of Rocket pictures is not a good actor. He is clearly lying about Victor. He won't hold eye contact with the camera for longer than a fraction of a second. And the story about when Victor first approached him over the phone about the tape he thought it was his brother playing a prank on him just seems a little cheesy and fabricated. The video of the interview itself is pretty neat. Ill admit it had me going for a while, but there are holes there too. Why so dark? Because the alien is sensitive to light but then the "doctors" fix the supposed seizure by shining a light in his eyes and wiping his mouth? And I'm not a video expert but it seems to me that you could change the voices on the tape like they did with victors instead of just deleting them.

All in all its pretty entertaining, if nothing else, watch it to decide for yourself. I would love for a real alien video to someday make it out, so I'm not a "skeptic" per say. This isn't it though.

Aliens are Funny--but not as funny as this video
hammd24 August 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Even though everything about this show is absurd, I still find it funny as hell. I like watching these shows from time to time just to see how people can ignore reality: 1) Why do aliens from a different galaxy or universe than ours and selective pressures look more like us (i.e. hands, head, legs) than we look like most of the creatures on our planet (compare us to squid or a zebra)? 2)Why would an enormously technologically advanced race who is capable of intergalactic space travel just not go undetected while coming here by using nanotechnology or something else entirely rather than being seen by a handful of white people who tend to make less than $40,000 a year? 3) Since we know about area 51 BEING a secret government facility AND they probably test things like NEW AIRCRAFTS, particularly cold war aircrafts AND they would probably test new aircrafts in the desert where most people wouldn't see them AND not denying everything would screw with the Russians' heads into thinking we might have flying saucers that can do this...how do we ignore this reality? Bob flippin' Lazar--that's how! LOL..oh, and a crappy video of my brothers alien costume from two Halloween's ago. The only thing believable about this film is that only the government could possible make such a crappy quality video of an alien...lots of fun though if you are bored.

Fake
travis-s-barnes10 December 2006
This is a fake. Why would any interview or interrogation be conducted in darkness? I have never seen medics manhandle a patient the way these guys handle the "ALIEN." They just run and and wave their flashlights around. They don't seem to examine him at all. Also, the "ALIEN's" head doesn't move with any fluidity, like most animals. It seems to jerk unnaturally and move stiffly like a puppet. This is obviously a hoax to try and make money off of a large group of people who want to believe in something fantastic. Don't waste your money. You can see just the video on YouTube. ooh ooh IOU OR ooh ooh coo ooh ooh OR OR IOU IOU ooh Ohio

The truth could be a lot closer than you think.
HannibaltheGreat21 April 2006
Has been 9 years since the release of this film and to all intensive purposes it's dropped off the radar, even the producers (Rocket films) have deleted the disc from release. This fact does not dilute the impact of the footage. You either accept this person 'Victor' as genuine or not. If you think he's fraudster then you won't give a shred of credence to the alien interview footage he presents. If however you're open minded enough to entertain the possibility that 'Victor' is for real and he has covertly acquired something incredible from the Nevada Groom Lake facility then the footage becomes serious food for thought. IMO the footage is at the very least impressive. Considering it was delivered to the film company in 1996 (before CGI was widespread in Hollywood) the 'interviewee' looks very real and solid. It moves oddly, in a jerky (non puppet) out of time way. I have never seen that movement depicted in any other Hollywood sci-fi flick. The glass partition between interviewer and his subject also made me think this could be real. I doubt fraudsters would have thought of adding this – especially as its so subtle on the film. Overall, I rate this tape much higher than the Santini 'autopsy' from 97. I feel the 'Victor' footage was tainted by that obvious fraud and for that reason has been largely forgotten about. Now we're approaching ten years since this tape was put into the arena I think its time 'Victor' came clean on his identity and told the entire truth. What has he got to lose? Failing that, the mere chance that this footage is not fake is enough to make it highly compelling for some time to come. I recommend this film to anyone who can find a copy to make there own mind up

Total fake...
Lukaswolfe26 September 2007
Warning: Spoilers
This is the worst attempt at an alien interview I have ever seen... The creature looks totally fake even in the poor lighting conditions it's filmed in. "Victor" answers no questions relevant to the authenticity of the tape or the filming, he even attempts to cover up the pitiful attempt of the "medics" tending to the creature. The movements of the creature indicate a hand puppet or a head-mounted mask. The medics have no idea what they are doing - Victor goes on to say they are selected for their ability to keep secrets rather than their expertise - Well you would hope that's the case cos these guys clearly have absolutely no expertise and tend to the creature in the manner of a butcher in an abertoire. As a creature sensitive to light I'm sure it would not appreciate having bright lights shining directly into it's eyeballs. Altogether this production is very cheap and disappointing..

Rocket Pictures DOES Exist
nathanmoyer2113 January 2007
The company Rocket Pictures DOES exist, they just don't do the production of videos for TV or home video very much at all, if ever anymore..They were on a History Channel Modern Marvels episode showing off transportation gadgets and they own a jet pack that propels people into the air just like the ones you see on TV and in movies..(pretty nice jet pack I might add) but YES, the company exists, just might not be on the web..believe it or not, quite a few local and national companies don't use the web even nowadays.. just too impersonal for them or just too much BS to set up and change their current and established ways..Toodles! (PS I believe, but I don't think they would be as "Intelligent" as they've been made out to be..just different "Intelligence" compared to our "Intelligence"...)so if they are real which I think they are somehow, somewhere..maybe they think of us the same way we think of them..could be a freaking' confusing day if they're made public..NO FLAMERS NOW!

I say fake...
salo-919 July 2006
Believe me, I'd love to believe, but everything points to more fake than real. The Rocket Production company put out the documentary, somehow they were 'choosen' by Victor (former Government Employee of Area 51), and this question is never addressed in the film. Rocket Productions doesn't exist anymore - they went out of business. And this appears to be a desperate move by the company. There has been no follow up on the subject of Victor's identity, but I put that due in part of the non-existence of Rocket Productions. Either that or Tom Coleman (president of Rocket Production) was kidnapped by the government to get information on who Victor was (That should have been Victor's ultimate concern in giving up his identity - go to the source).
