This year will be about the 6th or 7th viewing since this library-borrowed DVD baptized my new computer, near St. Patrick's Day of 2014. What a fine storytelling of someone so long ago. Stripping away years of distracting add-ons, getting to the blood and bones of the man - who turns out to be a real modern, someone in whom deep gratitude and unexpected pride can rest. Amazingly well done in simplicity and beauty, and pathos of history and geography! Each contributor ought to be proud to include it on their filmography! I intend to keep showing it on St. Patrick Days. Voilà.
