HETEROGENIC! is a cute little Italian CG animated film about, of all things, a single kernel of corn and his adventures! Here's how it all begins. An old scientist is doing some experiments with some radioactive-looking fluid and the cutest little kernels of corn I have ever seen. Again and again, it's failure until he gets to our little hero. He manages to escape the lab and goes on a long series of adventures until, ultimately, he grows arms and legs and even sprouts a cap--looking like the cutest little vegetable super-hero ever! From here, he goes back to the lab to help the scientist.
What I loved about this film were the great CG as well as the wonderful anthropomorphic characters. Who would have thought anyone could make corn that is gosh-darn adorable?! The film is not only of exceptional quality but is also funny and worth seeing.
